I have a mini rex named Cocoa. She’s about 2.5 years old. We recently took her to the vet for sore hocks (luckily there were very minor and she will be ok) and the vet said she weighed 4.2 pounds, which is about an ounce more than last time. I’ve also noticed that she looks a little chubby. Does anyone know if this is a healthy weight for her?

3.5 to 4.5 is within healthy weight for a mini rex If the vet says her weight is fine, I would assume shes fine. If you feel she is gaining too much weight, you can try to encourage her to exercise more.
