  How long do you need to wait before letting a neutered male be with a female (unspayed)?
  
  I was told 6 weeks but it has been 5 weeks 5 days and accidentally my rabbits got out and the male was humping her!
  
  Is it just hormones making him humpy or could she be pregnant?

  It’s UP TO 6 weeks. So chances are, he doesn’t have sperm anymore. I mean, you’re only 2 days short of 6 weeks. I would just keep an eye. You’ll know in a month if he actually had some boys left to make it through. But I think it’s pretty unlikely.

  BTW, humping can also be a display of dominance. My neutered boys hump each other all the time.

  If you intend to bond your rabbits, the female will need to be spayed first, with a few weeks wait after surgery until you can start bonding procedures. They shouldn’t be together, not even out together for play and exercise times, until she has been spayed.

  I second Toby. The issue with bonding rabbits isn’t necessarily the risk of pregnancy (although you definitely want to avoid it) but the issue is with hormones and you’ll want to reduce those hormonal crazes by spaying and neutering. Females tend to be more on the “aggressive” side of the spectrum because they are very territorial. I would keep them separated, get her spayed and then attempt bonding after she has had about 4 weeks to recover and dissipate her hormones
