I didn’t give them their salad this morning when I got up, because I was tired and put it off til I had some tea – well, Stickers decided to let me know that was NOT ok by chewing the baseboards. She only gets really chewy when she’s unhappy with my treatment of her (I didn’t remember to bring fresh hay into the living room, they didn’t get salad on time, it’s 2 minutes past dinner time, etc). Powder starts plucking the carpet to show his displeasure at how slow and horrible his slave is, but he gives me a little more slack and I have to be at least an hour late to get him doing it. I get thumps if I am immediately being bad – IE: trying to walk up to them, trimming their nails, etc.

What do your buns do to show that you are being a bad slave?

Hah wow! They are bossy! Lady hasn’t shown me any ‘tude yet, and Samson just ignores me for a couple days if I do something she doesn’t like.

i get thumps. digs, nips (not hard unless im REALLY bad) from bud

My first bun “bunnie” (i know…very original) would growl all the time but she never bit me (cept 1x she was really excited about treat time)
Maybe she just liked to complain…lol

Smudge thumps. At everything. Monkey growls. Moose hides… he’s such a weenie. Squirrel just glares.

When I do something he doesn’t like Totoro does that shaky thing with his head that rabbits do when they smell something they don’t like. Wilbur will run away, thump, or flick her feet.

I get thumps! and soft little “did you forget about us?” nudges – usually while I am doing my morning ritual of starting coffee, feeding 2 human kids, letting the 2 dogs out, letting the buns out and feeding them and 2 cats! THey think they should come before the human children and coffee

Hodari grunts. Very loudly. She has bitten DH a couple of times recently while we were trying to give her her medicine, but she was very mad at him and he probably deserved it! Lol. Any other time, it takes a lot to upset her. One thing that’s funny, though, is she seems so polite generally, like she somehow learned manners. If I offer her something she doesn’t want – a turnip green, let’s say – she will ever so gently push it and my hand away. I call this her “no thank you.” If I offer it again, she is more forceful, and she just keeps getting more forceful until finally she rips the green from my hand, drops it in front of her, pushes it back between her legs like it’s a football, and, if she’s really in a rage about it, stomps it with her foot. One of these days I AM going to get her on tape doing that. It’s hilarious.

Thump, chew my clothes, dig madly in my blanket, GRUNT, FOOTFLICK.. ahem, those last 2 are the most common ones.

                        It is a daily occurance.

Sammy is a thumping, growling, foot flicking, biting, scratching, butt showing ball of white disapproval.

                            Maybe the problem is me?????

Silly Sungura, that is so funny! My bunnies have yet to meet a vegie they don’t like 🙂

Actually I was going to post about this today and then I saw that I’d been beaten to it. I’ve locked Charlie and Stevie up in their spacious cage because I’ve moved our foster litter of babies into the main room. This morning Stevie was sitting at the edge of the cage squeeling and thumping. I thought she was hurt, but she’s fine…just squeeling. It was one of the most awful noises I”ve heard, and it put me into a panic…and the little wretch was doing it because she was mad!

Olivia will pummel the crap out of me, Stormy will nip or chew a hole in my clothes and Bindi has spent years perfecting his “stink eye” which he uses on me.
