ie. What is you occupation?![]()
I’m a paralegal but I’ve been off work for a while on extended stress leave. Working for lawyers is stressful!
I’m enjoying being a housewife and full-time bunny mommy for now.
A cuter version of me!

oh, how cute, wearing your ‘bunny slippers’ to work at home 😉
I’m a commercial artist/webmistress for a company that creates textbooks.
Insurance, commercial insurance. meh….
I was in marketing, loved it but when i had to move out here there wasn’t much call for marketing or any ‘fun’ jobs, so you take what you can get to pay the bills.
I work at a Japanese variety store, ‘full time.’ It is considered full time if you work 30+ hours.
Items are all $1.50 each, unless marked. Customers drive me insanely crazy by asking how much everything is, when there are HUGE SIGNS all over the store that say it ![]()
Here is the website:
http://www.daiso-sangyo.co.jp/english/
This is me on a regular basis at work. My mood turns happy when I get home to little Chacha bun.

This is just a job for the time being. I’ve been at Daiso for 4 years. In January, I’ll be attending school for a year to become a Medical Assistant. I will be taking the certification right after I graduate. Will find a job, and QUIT DAISO FOREVERS
. Hospitals like it when MA’s are certified, in fact, they make 18-22 an hour. I am not in it for just the money. I want to help people. Specifically in a cancer center.
oohoooohhh…. i wana go to the store! We have one in Richmond! Would be a good excuse to see my friend who lives there, it’s like 2 hour drive from where I am now.
Brittany, my aunts a MA, she is an office manager and likes her job a lot. I was a VA (Vet. Assit.) it was fun until my allergies forced me to stop. I wish i had more tolerence for humas.
I have no tolerance for humans when it comes to retail. So disrespectful ![]()
After I finish MA, I want to find a job, and go back to school a few years later to become a Surgical Technician. My mom was one at Uni of Washington for a year. I went with her a few times, with permission from her boss. Mom was always doing something, which I love because it makes time go fast.
A surgical tech readies surgical supplies needed for surgeries and helps patients get into the room for surgery, etc.
My mom got special permission from a surgeon nearby (the surgical tech room has doors onto the side and surgeons are doing operations!!) to show me a brain surgery in process
I LOVED IT ![]()
Andi, go to Daiso
It is spectular. The one in Canada is 2 stories high and I guarantee you will be in there for more than an hour. You will find cute bunny Stationery things, and bunny themed stuff
Don’t tell me I didn’t warn you!
I’m a hardware engineer at IBM – I make computer chips for video game systems, servers, cellphones, etc.
I work at a hotel/convention center .I cook /serve /clean up for breakfast assist in coooking /serving/cleaning up for banquets and meetings. They also have me ironing table cloths 3 days a week ..yawn lol.All in all its sure is an interesting place to work there is always something going on and sometimes we even have celbertiys that stay there although I my self have yet to meet one ….Yet
I’m a student/independent web designer. Over the summer, I was an attendant for a teenage girl with a mental disability. It was the best job ever.
When I graduate, I shall be a computer scientist.
I… well… I buy sockbunnies? lol.
My hubby is a computer programmer. He write computer code for a living.
Sometime I will go back to school at a school in portland, http://www.jewelersacademy.com/ , for jewelry design and crafting. ![]()
Elrohwen, dream job, I am such a nerd!!
I am an accountant….. tax….. yeah. I picked it because it has stable job availability, and pays enough so I can go back to school once I really figure out what I want to do. It’s okay, too, I may just stay doing this for a while. But I really like science.

Hahahaha. It’s really not as exciting as it sounds! I put very very small lines on a very very specific section of the chip. I spend most of my time looking into problems: “Oh, this stuff that ran 2 months ago is messed up and we think we traced it back to your section, because we always like to blame your section. Can you look into it?” I also own a set of manufacturing equipment and if it goes down or is having issues I have to figure out what to do with it.
My husband works there too – he puts very very small holes in a totally different section of the chip. lol Actually he works in development, so he’s making the chips that you’ll use 5 years from now.
I’m a bunny mom
I’m actually going to school to *hopefully* become a real estate agent. I’ll be done in Nov but will probably wait to take the test in Jan.
Im an RN, but recently returned to school so that I can get my masters in order to become an NP. Soooooooooooooo stressful though
work and school dont make such a good pair. Im in stress overload right now. ![]()
I’m an acupuncturist, specializing in mental health, women’s medicine, and Spanish-speaking patients. I work in a bizarre clinic in Chinatown, which is how I ended up adopting Mr. Bun-Bun (a mentally ill patient brought him by and left him there, he lived with us in the clinic for a month.) I’m working part time for now which is truly wonderful, but I can’t swing that indefinitely… I supplement my income from time to time with waiting tables which I’ve done on and off since high school, I do enjoy working in restaurants and bars due to the social aspect… but for now I’m perfectly happy working part time and spending time at home with the bunny!
I’m doing odd jobs these days. Mainly childcare. I’m a qualified dental tech and worked as a ortho tech. Jobs here in that line are scarce and I don’t think I really want to do it again. I’m basically paying for my bunnies from income I made then. I will need to train in a new career but I am clueless as to what that would be.
Workin’

They could just bag up their poop and sell it. Eat, poop, make money. What could be better?
Elrohwen,
Question: How many software engineers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Answer: None. That’s hardware.
(P.S. My title is Museum Assistant. I assist the Museum Director in a small museum that’s part of a cultural center on a historic site. Just the two of us, with another 10 F/T staff operating the rest. Museum, live theatre, art ed. classes, rental facility – combo non-profit org. We all wear about 4 hats each. Colorful ones – we work in the Arts.)
Bahahahaha, Pam. That’s a good one!
Btw, your job sounds like so much fun! I’d love to do so many different things every day. I’m sure you never get bored!
Petzy- Yes and I am kicking myself in the butt about the bonding!!!For the longest time I told myself I wasn’t going to bond them. I didn’t think I had any bondable pairs with Stormy being so aggressive and Olivia so territorial but Stormy has calmed down a lot. And after a lot of debate I decided I’m going to give them a chance. Storm and Bindi have been doing pretty good the last few sessions. I will update soon in the bonding forum.
Right now i’m currently improving my skills in complaining, but i normally work full time as a well behaved teenager.
i hope to be a youth worker one day and possibly work in a correctional facility as a “guidance counceller” i do very good at it so far, my friends and even people i dont know always come to me for advice rather than going to our school guidance. i find that alot of kids with problems and who grew up in a non-stable family don’t trust adults enough to talk freely with them so they go to their peers instead- if i can go through school and get a job as a youth worker i want to change that and have them trust me.i know i could make a huge difference later on in life if i’ve already made a difference now.
but thats to far in the future, so i’m planning on getting a job in the next few weeks even at a tim hortons or pizza place. Just so i can help support my self and then i can look after the bnnies the way i want to, instead of having my mom hold me back – maybe i’ll pay an animal fee to her and then i can keep them inside ![]()

LOL!!!!!!!!!
Right now, I don’t pay for my bunnies. My husband does!
I work in retail one day a week, barely enough hours to put gas in my car.
I am a 2nd year dental hygiene student, graduating in May. At that point, I will be able to pay for those little furballs.
RabbitPam, you have an awesome job. I’m jealous! INSANELY JEALOUS ![]()
I work at a local credit union, taking loan applications over the phone. Pretty much sums it up. And no, it’s not much fun but pays the bills. lol
Actually, right now I am on medical leave for some herniated disks and other spinal problems.
