Whenever I come home my bunnies greet me or I think they are greeting me haha. They come out of their cage and hop over to the door and sort of follow me around for a lil bit (i guess to be acknowledged? lol). I always bend down and give them some head rubs and go about doing my own business like tidying up my bed and changing into more comfortable clothing.
Note: they live in my dorm room so the space isn’t very big so I let them free range about 80% of my room.
Is this a way of showing affection to me?
They like head rubs and I see them doing bunny flops all the time. They actually don’t care if I touch them while they are sprawled out on their sides.
Even if I clean out their cage while they are inside, they don’t fuss at all. They have been spayed as well.
I know they are comfortable because early mornings when I’m still asleep sometimes I get woken up by their crazy sprinting and binkying.
They aren’t scared of me because they don’t even hesitate a lil to sprint out of their cage towards me when I have treats or vegetables (They LOVE cilantro like no tomorrow lol)
I heard that chinning and licking is a show of affections but I don’t recall really being licked or chinned…
Once in a while when I’m wearing jeans, they lick my legs when I’m sitting on the floor but as of late, that hasn’t really happened…
So does this sound like they love me or like me ? What are more ways I could bond with them? I WANNA BE LOVED D:
Oh they are also lop eared rabbits, specifically holland lops. Their personalities are both really REALLY chill. They are like the chillest bunnies I’ve EVER met. Luna is a lil bit more adventurous (no fear) but Venus is a bit more hyperactive (too much energy). HOWEVER, they spend like 90% of the day just CHILLING AND DOING NOTHING BUT EAT.
