Smudge has been such a wonderful addition to our family. Can you say failed foster?!

The plug-in was an attempt to keep him off the table. See how that works? It’s okay though, he can’t hurt anything and plug in has since been moved. And he does not touch cords. Love my Smudge-bug!
The links aren’t working for me 🙁 I tried going into your post to fix it, but I didn’t have any luck. I’ll send this to the other leaders
The pictures were working when I first read the post, but now they aren’t. :s
Smudge is adorable. ![]()
I fixed them, they should be working now.
Oh and I meant to add he does not touch cords, but I have since covered that cord just in case.
He’s very cute! I suspect he’s very adoptable.
What a darling little guy!
So adorable! I think he would be foster-failure with anyone! How did anyone ever give him up?!?!
Are you going to keep him? I’ll glady take him ;P He is sooooooo cute!
SQQUUEEEE! I love that fuzzy mess of hair on the top of his head! I would probably equate him to having a bit of a mad scientist quirky personality if her were in my home haha.
Are you going to adopt him?
Aww, his do is so cute!
Yes, Smudge is staying! At first, hubby was not on board. But after seeing what a total love bug Smudge is, he said to me “you can’t adopt him out!” He didn’t need to say that twice!! He gets the big snip on Monday.

Some young girl was selling him on CL. He was living in an outdoor hutch and never brought in the house. When I first brought him home he did not even know how to eat a carrot. He was very underweight. The girl was very matter of fact when I went to get him. She was not sad at all. I just don’t understand some people. He has bonded to me and I cannot imagine my life without him ![]()
OH MY GOSHHH LOOK AT THAT SLEEPY FACE!!!!!

Yea, that was the same way with Peppy girl…her previous owners just wanted to get rid of her and the kids didn’t even bother when I asked if they wanted to say goodbye to their bunny. Like Chacha said, their loss! These people don’t know what they’re missing out on.
I love Smudge’s hairdo!

No, they don’t. How sad for them. Volunteering at the rescue I am amazed at how many people just want to dump of their buns. I am struggling with trying to work with Tillie and it is breaking my heart at the thought that she may just do better in a single bunny home. Time will tell. If Smudge was a girl, little bows would look so very cute in his “trump fluff”. (fyi… I would never actually put bows in bunny’s fur ![]()
Congrats to you and Smudge on finding each other.
He’s so adorable. I love the pic of him sleeping, he reminds me of a baby porcupine.
I’ll never understand how people can give away pets like they are nothing. To me, they are everything.

I’ve found that to a large degree, bunnies are what YOU make them. If you stick them in a 2-foot cage or in a hutch outside… you’re gonna have one very dull pet. But if you allow them the opportunity to blossom, THEN they will be amazing animals. This is the perfect example of what having a good environment and proper diet/care can do for a bunny.
And this might just be me “reading into” rabbit behavior, but I really feel that the rescued buns (in many cases) know what how good they have it, and are ever the more appreciative and frankly, make better pets.
I know I’ll say that and then hear several stories of rescue buns that were trouble makers, but I stand by what I say ![]()

Beka~
I agree! Rescued buns are simply grateful. I have to say, everyday Smudge amazes me. I never had a bunny seek me out for love. He loves sitting next to me on the couch, just as long as I keep giving pets. Heaven forbid if I stop!!! Silly boy! I want to bond him with the others, but I hope it doesn’t break our bond.
