We have 2 house rabbits, one of which is a lop and the other is a mini lop.
We got blue, the older one by around 2 months, first. Then we got Oscar. They have been in separate enclosures ever since we got the second one whom we adopted. By this point Blue had already started showing signs of needing neutering, he was spraying and mounting things, running wild around us and grunting. At this time Oscar was fine and showing no signs. The vet advised us to get them both done on the same day, which we did, so their recovery time was roughly the same and they could recover together. We were also advised to leave them completely separate for 6 weeks and slowly start moving the enclosures closer together each week after that as well as getting them out together for 5 minutes in a neutral environment, so we did. We are still having problems as whenever they are together Oscar is ripping chunks out of Blue. We are struggling as we have no idea how to keep them together indoors as we dont have the room for 2 separate enclosures. They need to be in the same enclosure but separated. Any ideas???? Help!?!?
