House of a Thousand bunny daggers!

Hello! Thought I’d join to have a place to squee over our buns. We ended up with a lot kinda quickly but couldn’t do things diffrently, they are all so special already. We have seven buns belonging to my fiancee and I, then my brother lives with us and has two young buns of his own. Most are still fairly young so as they grow they are being moved to larger cages and eventually their own room/rooms depending on how many get along. (The vet says the pairs we got them in are our best bet but we will see!)

So I guess I’ll introduce our babies. We got them all from diffrent ways, though only Mochi was a real rescue in my mind due to the guy keeping him in a horrible cage in the garage for two years with limited contact… But anywho….

First is Mufasa, aka MuuMuu, this little snot started it all. And he really is a snot, no one told us Lionheads are brats! He has grown into his fluff a bit more. He’s around 10 or 11 months. He is anti social when it comes to buns to. He will try to attack. He is fond of cats and plush guinea pigs though!

Then came Cupcakes and Keter. These girls are a pain to photograph so an older pick it is. They are almost 6mo now. Cupcakes is “mama bun” to Keter, she likes to care for Keter and has shown some grumpiness towards other buns if Keter is with her. (Keter had a minor eye issue in the pic but don’t worry the vet took care of it at their checkup!) Cupcakes is the spotted one, Keter is the red eyed beauty!

Then we got Mochi. My brothers coworker was the one who handed him over to us. He is my skiddish bunny, but he is getting better really fast! And even with his grunting and occasional thump he hasn’t bitten and he will let me hand feed him. He is part Lionhead so his attitude might stem from that in part. I know Muumuu looooves to thump at us or grunt but he always relaxes. Mochi is getting there. He is at least 2.

Then came Susuwatari, aka Susu, and Cheeseburger. Cheeseburger was the one we were after but Susu sorta won me over with her mustache so I agreed to take her. She is around 9wks and Cheeseburger is about 5wks or so. They are best buds, even if Susu is, once again, a brat! Also a reason we got Susu, Cheeseburger is so young I worried he(?) would be upset being alone as he(?) is still to small to try and put him with the big girls or Mochi! Susu is supposidly Californian lionhead…looks pure double mane to me, but i am no expert. Cheezburger is some lop or another.

Then finally, even though we had way to many buns, my fiancee decided as an anniversary present she would get me the Flemish Giant I have wanted for so long. I fully intended to be all No no no no want but this “little” fluffball sorta stole me. He was hard to name though, so You Know Who, aka Voldemort, has become his name. He has cut me up good just wiggling when I pick him up! He is the same size (or bigger) then MuuMuu, Cupcakes and Keter, and almost Mochi’s size. However he is just turned 8wks this past fri! The lady had gotten his mom already preg and so she is certain he is a mix. But he is gonna be huge regardless!

So anywho thats the crew! Excluding my brothers two that is, I dont have pictures. We also have cats and guinea pigs and dogs….but the buns seem to be taking overrrr.

Wow…..that sure is a bunch of bunnies! I have enough on my hands with one! I love your Flemish Giant’s name, I’m a potter head myself!

Fun is one way to describe it. XD Especially at 2am…. They will get a room downstairs but atm MuuMuu is in the room and he is so aggressive he can’t even be in the same room or else he goes crazy. So…. the babies are in our room (and Mochi cause he is still being socialized) while they grow up and while we work on litter training.

Voldemort is my baby. I keep calling him my itty bitty baby and people keep thinking I’m crazy. lol I just can’t get over how he LOOKS like a older bunny but he ACTS like the baby that he is.
