I had the weirdest and most horrible dream last night. I was looking at my dog because she had been scratching and I thought maybe she had fleas. When I looked at her fur, there were all of these white larvae crawling around. I freaked out, but then picked one up to put on the bathroom counter. The larva curled up into a ball and then it metamorphosized right in front of me. It turned into an adult beetle like thing, but it was really small. Then it made a loud snap sound and was catapulted off the counter (like a snap beetle would). I was looking all over for it, but I couldn’t find it because it was so small. I was thinking I needed to get the dog to the vet to find out what these things are. But then I thought maybe I should check the rabbits first. I went into their room and they both had blood oozing out from under their fur, like the bugs had bitten them so much that they were bleeding. I freaked out and tried to look, but there were so many bugs crawling around in their fur that I couldn’t see their skin! After that, a bunch of weird stuff kept happening and no matter how hard I tried to make it to the vet’s office, I couldn’t.

This was such a weird dream, especially since I’m not really afraid of bugs. Although my husband and I were talking about bugs at dinner. I was explaining to him that they never told us not to mess with spiders when I was in Costa Rica. They told us not to mess with the monster centipedes out in the forest.

Anyone else have a bad dream about their bunnies last night?

Omg that’s horrible!!! I didn’t have a bad dream last night, but pretty frequently I do

A couple months ago when I first got my foster kittens and I was up feeding every 2 hours and stressed beyond belief I had a scary dream. I dreamt that I could here mewing coming from all over my house and kept finding all these lil orphaned kittens! I was trying to keep them warm and feed them, but I couldn’t do it fast enough because I kept finding more and more. THEN, I went into my room and there was a rabbit litter in Tait’s cage! I then proceeded to find two more rabbits litters in my room!

That’s when I woke up to my feeding alarm. It took me a few stressed out mins after that to realize that it wasn’t real and I didn’t have 5 thousand babies to feed

It’s strange how all my bad dreams involve something bad happening to the rabbits or dinosaurs chasing me.

              Oh yikes!

I have bizarre dreams in general. The weirdest was about Eddie. He was alive and with me here at the house. Somehow he got out of their pen and of course he had poopy butt. So he’s hopping all over the finished basement, leaving poop stains in the shape of his feet. And I am freaking out trying to catch him cause I had to get the stains out before my dad came home. Otherwise the rabbits would have to go outside. Ok…..maybe not bad or scary. But it was yet another dream where I wake up and go WTH?!? LOL

When I was a child, I had a dream that there were bugs and spiders the size of houses that were swallowing houses whole, etc. I have no idea where that came from cause I hadn’t read or seen anything anywhere close that. You know, sometimes you watch a movie or tv show and you have weird dreams similar to what you watched. I would never watch anything that had giant bugs/spiders in it. LOL

Certain drugs can make you have bizarre dreams. A lot of anti-depressants do. I know that’s what the problem is in my case.

The worst dream I had was about two weeks ago. I dreamed that Lago had really terrible malocclusion. When I woke up, I ran and checked her teeth to make sure it really was a dream.

I love dreams! I have super weird dreams that I often record in a journal. I’ve done a lot of research on dream interpretation and I believe that most symbols in your dream stand for something else. Sometimes figuring out what your dreams are telling you can help you make decisions in your waking life.

Seeing larvae turn into a beetle symbolizes a rebirth of some sort. You are undergoing some inner changes and transformation. Often to see a bug in your dream means literally that something is bugging you. Usually something minor, but it’s nagging your subconscious.

Has something about your bunnies been bugging you lately?

I have weird dreams about animals a lot. A favorite is a dream I had about little puppy horse hybrids frolicking all over a backyard that I owned in the dream, but definitely don’t in real life. But a couple of weeks ago I had a dream that I went to a huge wal-mart sized building that was full of adoptable bunnies. There was even a cage full of tiny, pink and yellow ones that hopped around like little popcorn kernels. I fell in love with a big, white bunny and carried her all over the place with her tooth purring and cuddling with me. I finally found where I needed to take her, and it turned out that she was terminally sick and it was absolutely devastating. I thought it was real for a good hour after waking up. Until I remembered the pink and yellow bunnies.

On a more amusing note, I had a dream once that my friend’s kitties (who I used to live with) were abducted by the humane society and I staged a special ops type resuce mission to save them. It was bizarre.

Darn it. I want a puppy horse!

Rabbits are probably a common dream theme for many of us BB-ers. I had one last week that I was lied to about Jersey being spayed because in this dream I had gotten her from someone else. I discovered she had a litter then that litter had more and so on. I have no idea why I only discover all this when they’re already dozens of rabbits. Lots were REWs but one in the dream had an agouti coloured face. Lol. So it was sort of flirting the idea that Rumball possibly wasn’t neutered either. Weirdness.

I like hearing about dreams. I used to read a dream forum and look into them more but now I’m slack about recall and recording them.

Bindi is in my dreams a lot. Not sure if it’s because he’s on my mind a lot or because I’m dreaming of a white rabbit (which signifies faithfulness and love or the rabbit is serving as a guide to steer you toward the right direction in life) and since Bindi is the white rabbit I see all day it just happens to have his face and floppy ears.

I have a lot of lucid dreams and they are so amazing. Once I realize I’m dreaming I can decide what happens in the dream. It’s like my imagination gone wild but it feels absolutely real. I also have cool powers most of the time in my dreams which include flying, the ability to become transparent when I say “invisible” and am able to walk through glass.

I have some serious messed up dreams sometimes and I stopped telling Ricky about them because he seriously thinks I’m crazy. Pisces are known to have very vivid, often psychic dreams.

Nothing has been bugging me lately where the bunnies are concerned. They are my little angels.

Seriously though, nothing about them has been bugging me. I have been stressed about other things though, like school and what I’m going to do with my life.

It could be not something specific with the bunnies or the dog but your mind uses them in the dream because it will get your attention. Like the mind casts them in a role. You could look at it in a generalized way. Things manifesting just below the suface that then appear “in your face” suddenly.
You could look at the bugs as parasites i.e. something unhealthy in life, unwelcome and living off your energy. This needn’t be a physical thing or illness. It could just be negative attitudes of people around that drain you. Or your own unwelcome thoughts that sap energy.

After that, a bunch of weird stuff kept happening and no matter how hard I tried to make it to the vet’s office, I couldn’t.

I read that as simply obstacles that prevent you from where you need to go. You could apply that to any aspect of life and see where it applies in current situations.
I reckon that’s a reccuring theme in my life! :p Most obstacles I create myself.

jerseygirl – You have no clue how true all of the stuff you said is. I have been struggling with a lot of turmoil lately, both internal and external. Like I said, a lot of it has to do with school. Nothing is worse than realizing how uncertain and scary the real world can be. I have made a lot of discoveries about myself and I am realizing the demons I have had buried (the kinds of things about yourself that you know are true but you don’t want to admit it or face it). Anyhoo, I know I don’t need to worry about the rabbits. They are fine for the time being.

Hope you’ll soon be dreaming about more pleasant things. Woolys blue eyes and Leopolds satiny fur!

I had a not-so-bad dream last night. Apparently I had adopted a third rabbit and I wanted to get him a friend. I went somewhere and picked out a large bunny that was orange-y brown and brought him home. Miraculously, all four rabbits got along as if they had lived together all their lives. I was so excited about it! I went out into the living room and the newest bunny followed me. Then he got up onto the couch with me and wanted to snuggle. I was thinking oh my gosh what a wonderful bunny! So I picked up my camera and I tried to take pictures (since I realized I hadn’t taken pictures to show everyone here). But when I tried to take the picture, the camera started to get all wonky and the battery died. I had just charged the battery too! I was so upset, I kept trying to get the camera to work so I could take pictures but the camera had frozen into the “on” position (the lens was out) and it was stuck and wouldn’t work.

So what was the third bunny like?

Aside from the faulty camera, that’s a nice dream to have!

The third bunny was black and white, but he had dutch-like markings I think. I wonder why all of my rabbits are black and white.
