Hi guys its Olly Rabbit, yesterday my Mummy gave me some kisses and noticed I smell a tiny bit  Its a bit like wet dog smell.

I know its Spring now, wild bunnies will be trying to find a wife and make babies, so we think even though I’m neutered that it could be just breeding season, what do you guys think? Are there any wipes I can use so I don’t smell?

Wick smells like we’re dog sometimes, but it usually goes away. Do you have any dirt or gross stuff on you that’d make you smell olly?

I’d say tell Mummy to keep an eye on you and if you still smell after a day or two, it may be worth looking at your scent glands to see if they’re clogged. Your mom can look at Youtube videos online about scent glands. Here’s a good one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_x9dbSUdomg

Hi Wick, Olly’s Mummy here, the vet checked those out last weekend when Olly had early GI, I asked him too because I can’t see very well, I thought scent glands smelt like coffee not wet dog.

I have heard about the coffee smell as well. I don’t want to be too careless in my opinion, but I know for a fact Wick smelled like wet dog once, but it seemed to go away on its own. I think it’ll be the same for Olly as well.

Hi Wick, the smell has gone, I think it was just because its Spring and Olly was letting off his scent.
