Hoppy Turkey Day! Cinnabun and I had quite a nice one. My mom and aunt came down, with an entire Thanksgiving dinner! Cinnabun had a very nice time showing off how cute she is. Even sat on my aunts shoulder for a bit, which was a big surprise to everyone. She got a few nice presents (wooden chews) from my aunt AND an entire trash bag full of toilet paper rolls. Spoiled.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable thanksgiving also! We had our Uncle over because again, everyone else was elsewhere having thanksgiving. Skippy went up to him and was sniffing him and playfully almost climbed on him! ? I’m thankful for many things, including my two bunnies and two guinea pigs. Hope everyone else had fun too!

Yeah, stores will do anything to make money. We basically have Black Friday sales all weekend. This is the first weekend that it`s been super advertised though. We dont`have crazy campers and fist fights though, that`s a US thing.
The commercialism leading up to Christmas makes me sick. We are a very greedy society.

I’m late yo this thread but hope you all had a pleasant and happy thanksgiving.
I actually managed to cook dinner without making us sick or burning the house down.
Lol…..I think what got me about this last month in the news was how Twinkles were being auctioned for 200 grand per box. Now THAT’S greed.
I’m just glad that me and my kids and furbabies were all together for the day. Haven’t been feeling to well for the last few months so I just hope to have a quiet Christmas now with my family. I hope you all have a family filled holiday season this year…and NO SICK BUNNIES!

Thanks Steph, it’s nice to be missed. (((((Hugs))))) I’m actually facing some really tough decisions right now. For the next nine months there’s going to be a lot of changes made….NO, I’m not pregnant, lmao….but my whole world is going upside down. I just want one last nice family Christmas before it all goes to heck.
I’ll try to pop in more often. I still have something waiting to post to you, btw. I’ve just been struggling to keep going and plenty of things I need to do get set aside or missed because I just can’t focus as well as I used to.

Thanksgiving here was kind of different for us this year. I am frankly glad that whole week is over with. As you know, we don’t celebrate Christmas, so it’s usually a better month for us in December than Nov. when some of the pressure is off the family. (Bdays, other anniversaries, very mixed emotions in Nov.) The latest encroachment of retail on all the holidays is getting awful.But I got a Kindle Fire for my birthday mid-November, which was a huge surprise, and I am really having fun playing with my new Toy.
