Thanks, JackRabbit. I have considered selling the costumes after I use them but not sure I want to part with them. I have an Etsy shop for other crafts (although it’s on hiatus right now). Maybe someday I will sell the costumes.

I saw some pet costumes at the store when we went to get my partner’s costume for work. I was sorely tempted, but then I considered the evil “I shall kill you human” glares I would get and decided against it.

You guys are all too cute! And I love the homemade costumes, what talent you have!
I think if I tried to put costumes on my buns they would pack their bags and move out. I got enough stink-eye for putting Roxi in a pumpkin basket…

You guys are so lucky to have cooperative bunnies. Porky will not put up with wearing clothing much to my son’s great disappointment. We were at the pet store a few days ago picking up some pellets and he really really wanted to buy a costume for Porky, but I just reminded my son of Porky’s reaction last time he tried to put clothing on him.

Thank you for all the compliments. I really enjoy making the costumes. The bunnies are really not as cooperative as you might think. Bindi is fine with getting clothes on but he refuses to stay still for the picture. It”s hard to snap the pic while trying to keep his hat and cape on! That’s why his pic is less quality than Olivia’s. Olivia is very photogenic. She tolerates hats and things draped over her but would never let me put actual clothing on her. That’s the key with bunny costumes. You have to know your bun and what they can handle. I would never stress them out with something more than they can handle.

MissGabbster- No, Everly’s costume was a gift from my Baby Shower. It’s actually just a bib so was nice and easy. Next year, I might make her costume.

Is she ever!! She’s very striking is this one. And Bindi has just the right look of bunnitude on his face. I’m surprised it was hard to get the shot of him as it looks as if he’s posing in character.

LPT, those are fantastic pictures and awesome costumes! I am so jealous of anyone who can get their bunnies to put up with it for even two seconds. I tried months ago getting Mimzy into a t-shirt (one of Jenna’s) for just one night so he wouldn’t chew an incision site and he started tearing at it right away, then jumped his front legs out of the arm holes and madly began running about trying to extricate his hindquarters from the rest of it…I gave up! (eyeroll)

I hope everyone and everybun had a fun and safe Halloween! Start getting those jingle bells, reindeer antlers and Santa outfits ready for Christmas now!
