Hoppy Halloween!!!

Do you have any Halloween plans? 

Not much exciting here. I’m going to help my sister with her daycare this afternoon. We are going to make Halloween crafts and treats and then I’m dressing up to go help Mom pass out candy. I live on a dead end street and no kids come so I like to partake in the candy giving fun at my Moms place. I’m going to be a cat.

Last Friday was really fun. My hubby and I got dressed up and helped my sister put on a”Haunted Halloween Woods Walk”. She lives in the country and has a long wooded road that we set up with all kinds of spooky stuff, lanterns and candles and had people dressed up to scare the kids. There was a milder version for the youngest kids and a big bonfire and treats at the end. About 50 kids came out, most of them school friends of her 9 and 11 year old daughters. Was lots of fun. The kids were scared and had a blast.  Next year, we plan on doing it again, even bigger and better.

My bunnies are going to get some Pumpkin Flavoured Cookies as a special Treat.

No plans – we don’t get any kids ever…my neighbors next door dig Halloween and decorate their house – they usually do a party – hope they aren’t too loud LOL.

I’ve been contemplating all month when I see pet costumes to get one on Simba, but even the XS dog ones seemed too big and I barely saw anything made specifically for rabbits. Plus I figured I would never be able to get it on him…

But I did sprinkle some Halloween spirit on his cage

I am going to a party! If I got an organic pumkin and sliced it, pulled out the guts, could I give some to the bunnies as a special halloween treat? Hoppy halloween!

LEL- yes, bunnies can have pumpkin. But like any fruit, just a taste!

We didn’t get many trick or treaters this year. Strange, every year there is less and less kids out. I think a lot of parents are becoming really overprotective. Back in the 80 s and 90s…we knew how to do Halloween!!!!!

Too late for Halloween but there’s Chrissy outfits!

I’m invited to a party that is tomorrow. I don’t know if I will go or not though. I have to work Saturday morning, I guess no one else does. LOL

We were not expecting any trick-or-treaters this year since we usually don’t get any. All of our neighbors always shut their lights off so the entire section is usually dark. I guess kids don’t want to venture to our one house. So we were just planning on turning the light off and leaving. Well, before we left, a kid came to the door. It wasn’t even close to being dark yet. I had to find something to give him because we didn’t buy any candy. o_O

Tonight we’ve had about 8 trick or treaters so far which is a lot for us (dead end st syndrome). We’ve been watching scary movies and bonding bunnies most of the evening.

I expected at least a few by now, but luckily none have showed as we have no candy! The roads are just too icy to drive and the kids couldn’t walk it without falling I guess. I just hope there’s no obnoxious parties tonight or even tomorrow because that’s how vandalism happens out here in the boonies.
I have these two cute costumes to put Jenna in but there’s no point really.

Mimz- you should have dressed Jenna up anyways Mom’s Westie was the Cheshire Cat. It was so cute. Last year she was a belly dancer.
