I know buns hide illnesses, but do they do the same thing with stress? This kind of relates to Luna’s recent stasis episode, since she was acting normal in the morning but was in stasis by the late afternoon/early evening. If she was stressed, would she hide it?

I think we can spot stress easily in rabbits as we know what signs to look out for. I would think it’s more likely that she was okay in the morning but become stressed quite quickly in the afternoon. Is there anything you think might have caused her stress?

I can’t think of anything that could’ve happened while I was gone. The weeks prior there had been more stress in the air, and also the days leading up to Luna’s stasis I was arguing (loudly over the phone) with my sister, so I thought maybe the stressful aura affected her but she hid it until the day of her stasis?

I see what you mean, perhaps it was slowly building up and then the straw that broke the camel’s back so to speak is what finally triggered the stasis. That’s tricky because if it was building up gradually, it would have obviously been near on impossible to detect. I hope someone else chimes in! I wish our buns knew they didn’t have to hide things from us.

I’ve told her before that she shouldn’t hide things from me . Needless to say she didn’t listen . Oh, and I forgot to mention that the week leading up to everything I (incidentally) was changing her morning routine every day.

This makes me laugh because Ophelia can NEVER hide anything. Her facial expressions tell all!

That actually might have done it. Bunnies are the dictionary picture next to the definition of “slave to habit”.
