  Hi Everyone! I’m proud to say that I am a new owner of two adorable bunnies. My first is Waffle (Male, Mini Lop, now 5.5 mths) who I got back in mid-Oct. I quickly realized that he was lonely, so I added Marble to the family in mid-Dec (Female, Netherland Dwarf, now 3.5 mths). They are now known as Wabble (pronounced Wobble) . I’ve posted a pic of both of them so please tell me what you think of them! (Waffle is on the right- named for his fur that originally looked more like the color of a waffle, and Marble on the left- named for her brown/white mix of fur)

  Awww that’s such a sweet picture. As Monkeybun said, Marble definitely looks more like a Dutch bunny in both coloring and body shape (I love Dutches!)…her coloring is gorgeous, I don’t think I’ve seen a Dutch that color before. Welcome to the forum!

  thanks everyone! waffle and marble are both blushing now (if that’s even possible). i thought marble didn’t really look like a netherland either, so thanks for clearing that up! =) anyway she’s still my little baby and i love her so much! here’s some more pics for your daily dose of cuteness. enjoy!

  Ahhhh that picture with Marble sitting in the carrot dish is so precious!!! And the next one of Waffle just sitting there posing…your buns are so adorable!
  
  Has Marble’s brown coloring lightened with age, or is it just the photos?

  marble’s coloring has pretty much stayed the same. the baby pic is a bit darker cuz the lighting was darker. her actual color is more like the photo with both of them in it (slightly darker though)

  So Waffle is a boy who is now probably sexually mature and Marble is a girl who is nearing sexual maturity. Is Waffle neutered and/or do you have plans to get them neutered and spayed? You might need to worry about keeping them together soon due to possibly accidental pregnancies.

  tell him that if marble doesn’t get spayed, there is an 80-85% chance she could get uterine cancer by age 4, and be a very very unhappy girl, and cause lots and lots of money to go to vets. Spaying is better for all involved

  Welcome! Marble also has eyes like a marble, I love blue eyes. So pretty! Hope to see more of them!
