Hi everybody!! so i know ive been away for a little while but i was busy getting married, lol got back today at noon form my honeymoon, I had a week off but decided i wanted the remaining days to spend with my little girl and doing moving arrangements since my new hubby will be moving into my house (its bigger, he owns a small 1 bedroom condo) anyways let me give you all a quick update on Zoe and ugggh her situation. So shes doing great the kits are too, she will be getting officially spayed on friday ill have the weekend to look after her because monday i go back to work. Her spay is scheduled for 8:00 am in the morning, not gonna lie im pretty nervous, but hoping everything will be fine. So ill let you guys know how all that goes. When i got home i found Chomper was a bit depressed seems he missed Luna ALOT!! Luna is his partner in crime, lol. The bunny sitter said all he did was stay in his cage and didnt want to eat, but once i got him home he did binkies and went straight into Luna’s room and hopped onto her bed. LOL!!! i missed my little man ALOT longest 3 days in my life. Luna seem to have had the same symptoms since her baby sitter said she stayed in her room most of the time and wouldnt eat either. But all of them are doing great now that they are back home. Zoe is asleep in Luna’s closet and Chomper is playing with Luna in her doll house, really funny. So anyways ill let you guys know how Zoe’s spay goes.

Welcome home and congrats! I hope your honeymoon was amazing! It sounds like Luna and the buns missed you a lot! It’s great when family, including the fuzzy kind, jump for joy when you come home

Good luck with Zoe’s spay! Just remember it’s for her own good and it’s a common procedure. No more surprise litters and better overall health! We’ll all have you and Zoe in our thoughts and will wait to hear how she recovers :]

Congratulations! What better excuse for absence than a wedding? I hope your new hubby likes bunnies… LOL

Thanks guys!!!!! and the hubby is indifferent to the buns, he’s not a fan of them but doesnt mind them either, he knows I LOVE them and that there is a very special reason as to why i love buns so he knows they are pretty important to me so he is trying to learn to love them. oh and Kafrn i would love to post some pics but I broke my camera the day i got married =( so i need to go buy myself a new one. And hopefully everything does come out okay tomorrow. Have a quick question, Zoe is a VERY LOVING bunny loves to cuddle, loves to give kisses, she is just absolutely a passionate and caring bun, will her personality change with the spay??? Chomper before his neuter was a bun who loved being picked up and after his neuter, well he now just hates it, he will follow you but does not like being picked up. Will some of Zoe’s personality change??

In my experience, you will want to get the spay done, personality change or not. It did not change my bunny in a bad way, she actually warmed up to me more. She wasn’t intent on spraying pee all over the carpet, ick o_O;; Her litter box habits turned superb.

Did you always have Chomper before Zoe? Or did you get Zoe after you neutered Chomper? I’m not sure if it has anything to do with her presence. He could have always been territorial but it didn’t show until you got Zoe.

Oh i know Brittany regardless Zoe will get spayed, just want to know if I should expect a personality change on her. I got Chomper beofore Zoe, Chomper was suppose to be a mate for my bun Apple who passed away a few months after getting Chomper they got along great! Chomper was already neutered when i got Zoe, and they got along just fine, i had no bonding issues with them. Chomper is a pretty passive bun though just like Zoe. Zoe’s litter habbits are great and no spraying…. well at least yet…. just hope she keeps on being the same loving bunny.

My hubby isn’t big on pets.   Especially in the house.   As yours has realized they mean a lot to us and they dont’ mind them.   Fouad got used to them and even gives them a treat now n then and talk to Ruby and teases Cotton.

Buns kind of rub off  on people.        Hubby won’t pet them but he talks to them.  Big change from when I got them.   HE had to learn their behavior and what they are capable of learning

OH and     hubby hated pets in the bedroom.   Ruby’s play area was the small bathroom.   At first.   I gradually expanded her play area til she now has the whole bedroom.     rofl.

That is very funny bunnytowne!!!! LMAO!!!! Well Chomper sleeps in my bedroom in a rocking chair that is next to my bed, when hubby would come sleep over sometimes, Chomper would always jump up on to the bed and start digging on his belly, lol!! Chomper didnt really like when he slept over so i would have to put him in his cage or he wouldnt let us sleep. So now that he is permanently moving in im not sure how Chomper is gonna take it that now he has to share a bedroom he considered all his, lol!!! I guess im’a have to have a bonding session between them two, lol =D hubby knows the rules though bunnies are part of the family and need to be treated as so. He loves Zoe but Chomper is not one of his faves, lol. He will pick Zoe up and let her sleep with him when his on the couch watching t.v. but Chomper and him seem to have a love and hate relationship, so we’re gonna have to work on that. Plus he knows my daughter LOVES her bunnies and would be devastated if she had to give up either of them and his a sucker for Luna’s sad face so he wouldnt want to be the culprit of her tears. so its basically 2 against 1. =P he doesnt mind my dog though, he says small pets are for girls. lol!! his a dork!!!
