Hey everyone, we’re from Australia and we’re new here. I (mum) was looking up toys and treats for my two boys, Snuggles and Aussie, birthdays! (Snuggles is 19thJune, Aussie is 29thJune). I’d found tons of great stuff I knew they would love, but everytime I went to buy the item, I found it cant be shipped to Australia After a bit of searching, I found this site. I remembered a bunny parent friend of mine saying she buys from here, and I decided to join up. I have 10 bunnies in total 6 still living with me, and 4 with angel wings. Rabbits have been in my family for a while, my Mum used to have them, and then when I was ready, I got two (Nibbles and Snuggles). I dont want to ever spend another day without one, they have brought so much joy to my life. I foster rabbits and guinea pigs when needed, but I think I should stop that cause 3 of my fosters I ended up keeping, hahaha.
I cant thank my Little Monsters enough for all they’ve done for me, I love them with all my heart.
So here are my buns, I can only really show you 8/10 as the other two (Patch and Nibbles) left for the bridge awhile ago and I dont have much on them. Though they are still very much adored and missed.
SNUGGLES (SNUGS, SNUGGLE BUGS): Is a mischievous, fussy, dwarf x. Nearly 6 years old, he is the first rabbit in the family. I got him from a family friend, and whilst he has often driven me crazy, I love my scruffy boy dearly. I nickname him the ‘The disappwovin’ Wabbit’ and ‘Snuggles ScruffyPants’ as he always looks grumpy, and his fur just doesnt stay neat, even after constant brushing. He goes ape for broccoli leaves, loves tearing up newspapers, and his favourite toy is a hanging carrot.
AUSSIE (OZ, AUSSIE BOY): Is a beautiful, chubby, loving boy. Breed unknown, he is nearly 9. I took him away from his previous home, after constantly finding him sitting in his own filth, with only pellets to eat. He was covered in mats, with pee stained fur, and he was very grumpy and didnt trust anyone. Now, after nearly 1 year with me, he has entirely changed. His mats are gone, his fur is back to being sleek, and his attitude has changed dramatically. He loves to eat, not surprisng as all he got to eat before was pellets. He loves hugs, he is super friendly with all the other buns, but he was never neutered. He is going blind in his left eye, but he is still very energetic.
ZEUS (BOOFER): Is a lovely, roughly 1 year old, Pearl Grey Sable boy. I am his third family, and I will be his last. He is very shy, but will come out of his shell to get food. He is my big boofer boy, pretty heavy, but still little enough to snuggle. He is a beautiful bunny, with a heart of gold. He is so sweet to all the bunnies, he never tries to fight and has never bitten any of the animals or me. Im working on making him more confident.
YIN (BLACK BEAUTY) AND JINXX (MUMU): Are Havana girls, 1 year olds. They’re biological sisters. Yin is full black, and Jinxx is brown and white. Jinxx died in my arms on the 7th of January, 2013. She was a very sweet, loving, girl, that loved face rubs and binkying around the garden. Yin is somewhat moody, she isnt so keen on hugs but she will happily hop around you and eat out of your hands. I hope to bond Yin with Zeus, but for now she is content with nuzzling Valentine and Zeus through the bars.
AAMOR (SUNSHINE): Is a big, fast, Californian girl, roughly 3 years old. I found her on a rainy morning in 2012, running in my front yard. I decided to keep her after her previous family failed to claim her over a one month period. I was going to adopt her out but I became attached. She’s my first Foster Failure. Aamor is a very untidy rabbit, doesnt care for her litterbox, and likes to tip her water over her bedding. Drives me insane, but she’s too cute to be mad at.
RAIVEN ROSE (LITTLE RAY): Is my gorgeous, special needs, dwarf baby. She unexpectedly died on March 3rd, only 4 months old, after living with something she was much too young to have. She was also a Foster Failure, I was fostering her until I got her special needs under control, but then I decided I couldnt let her go. She was bonded to Valentine. Raiven was so loving and sweet, she was so placid and the cuddliest bun Ive ever had. She followed me all over the house, loved climbing over me, if I was ever down to her level she would climb up on my lap and cuddle in, and If i was ever in her line of vision she stopped whatever she was doing and leaped over to me. She loved to binky, she loved curling up with me late at night to watch movies, and she was just so friendly to everyone she met. I took her with me everywhere, and people always stopped and cooed over her cuteness, asking to hold and pet her, and asking how she was going. I had plans for her, she was going to go around the retirement villages and childrens hospitals with me to make them smile as she was so gentle and small, but we never got the chance. I miss my angel so much.
And finally,
VALENTINE (VAL): Is a very naughty, small, 6 month old dwarf. Val was bonded to Raiven, but now lives next door to Yin, they like to nosebonk through the bars. Val is very spoilt, she’s a princess and she knows it. Full of attitude, but overflowing with cuteness. Foster Failure #3. Val hasnt grown since she was 3-4 months old. She loves parsley and pellets, going so far as to launch herself into the containers. She is always on the go, doesnt like to sit still. She keeps me on my feet, but I love her so much.
So there you have it, 8 of my ten Little Monsters. I call them Little Monsters cause I reckon its cute, and they keep me busy with their mischievnous.
Anyway, hope you like my Monsters, and look forward to chatting with yous soon.
