  My name is Daphne. I live in ohio and currently have 2 Flemish Giants. According to the breeder they are around 2 months old and they are oh so cute! My yellow boy is named Hossenfeffer (Hoss for short) and my female is named Elvira. Elvra is a shade of Black or dark blue (I’m not positive)
  This looks like a great website I am sure I will spend many happy hours reading and meeting all you wonderful rabbit moms and dads.

  I am looking to get into Rabbit agility and training. I know that the bigger rabbits should not do high jumps so I am in the process of designing and constructing a Flemish friendly agility course. I hope to be able to get a group together and have “meetings” with our bunnies once a month.
  
  I also want to show rabbits and have discovered a Lop called a Velveteen Lop. Has anyone else heard of these and what are your thoughts on them. I would love showing them but know they are not an ARBA recognized breed, however there is a website that says these beautiful bunnies can be shown. Also if anyone has any show pointers, I would be very thankful.

  I’m not sure that anyone will be able to help you here with your “showing” questions. As a house rabbit site, we keep our rabbits as indoor companions and we advocate the spay/neuter of all rabbits. I think rabbit shows only allow INTACT rabbits to be entered, so none of ours would qualify.
  
  Are you planning on spaying and neutering your rabbits?

  I will have pictures as soon as possible. Currently my camera is broken and I have to get a new one, which I havn’t been too happy about. I love taking pictures and feel kind of lost without my camera.
  
  Actually, there is limited bunny showing where bunnies don’t have to be unaltered, and if I show the ones I have now – they will be fixed. I am actually wanting to start a just for fun showing group for only house bunnies. I think it would be fun, but of course it is a work in progress and I don’t know if there are people close to me who would like to do something like this. I also want to do an agility group. So, everyones bunnies on here would be elgible for both!
  
  Also thanks for welcoming me, I was beginning to think I had bunny pox or something LOL…
  As a side note – your bunnies are gorgeous! and I love your avatar – too cute.

  Yes pics! I love seeing big bunnies, but I don’t think I could handle all the poop if I had one of my own!

  Oh dear – lots of poop? LOL – I have 2 young Flemmies… Will be LOTS of poop once they are full grown.

  Hi and Welcome to you and your Flemmies. I’m also looking forward to pics of your buns. Most of us have small buns so the burden is on any Flemmie owners to give us our “big bunny fix”.
