        Hi everyone!

I adopted Patch on 6 Nov – he is a harlequin coloured cross. He had been in the adoption centre for over 3 months in a little pen on his own – and he wasn’t castrated so you can imagine how frustrated he was! He was territorial of his space and a tiny bit aggressive. However I decided to take him home and give him the chance that every pet deserves. He was binkying within 24 hours!  He was castrated on 11 Nov and is recovering slowly. Had to make a trip to the emergency vets on Sunday as he wasn’t eating very much. He is sore and a bit swollen so just got to keep an eye on it. He is bright and seems pretty happy in himself. He would not take the critical care! But I have been just about managing to get his antibiotics and tummy meds into him. And he had a pain relief injection yesterday which I think did wonders.

I had a rabbit named Bailey and he passed away just over 3 years ago. I still miss him so much but I am very happy to finally give my love to another bunny.

        Sarah xx

Welcome Sarah It sounds like Patch ended up in his dream place, a loving and caring human with bunny experience! I hope he recovers well and that his frustrations will lessen soon.

Patch is very handsome! Thank you for adopting him and giving him a home. I hope that he will be completely healed from his neuter surgery very soon.
