Hi again

[Holly]

 Hi,

It seems like I now come one once a month or everyother month.  I’m sorry about that.  I am now back to my regular teaching schedule and Zach. It has been good actually.  I’m just very busy.

Zachary is now 5 months old. He is really into exploring his world which now includes Holly.  This may sound crazy but I think adult bunnies are the equivilant to a 5 month old in some ways.  Both are very curious about things, everything goes into the mouth, and she has figured out a couple of his toys better than he has!

 

Zach has this toy that is like a car dashboard. Holly likes to rub her chin on the steering wheel. As a result the ABC song is constantly playing when she does that.  I’m surprised it doesn’t scare her.  He has this rattle bracelet that she likes to toss in the air. I’m glad his toys are safe for both of them.

The other night Zach kind of told on Holly in his own way.  I was feeding him and he just stopped eating and was looking in one direction.  I followed his stare, and he was watching Holly play with my cell phone cord that she pulled down.  Way to go Zach!  After I put the cord where it was, he continued to eat.  

We are working on good citizonship right now.  Zach likes to pet Holly, but it is more of a grab.  Holly likes to hop ON Zach.  Neither has hurt the other, but I have to watch both of them like a hawk when they are together.  

 

Last month, I took Zach to Ohio for a visit to my folks. We were gone about a week.  Toward the end of the week, my husband calls me and says that he thinks Holly is depressed. She’s eating and drinking but not as much as usual.  Thankfully, I was coming back the next day.  It took her awhile to forgive me for leaving her, but she’s back to normal.

 

I’ll try to read some of the posts. I’m always behind on that. Have a great day.

Oh my goodness, five months already? 0_o I think that’s the hardest part of being a mom, the time just goes so fast! ^_^

It sounds like Zach and Holly are building up a fantastic relationship. It’s wonderful to hear you tell their stories, even if it is only every few months or so. (I can totally understand this. My two kids are teenagers and I STILL don’t have time to keep up with friends and family!)

It’s good to see you here again! Hope to hear from you again when you have a spare moment. Lots of hugs and snuggles to both Holly and Zach. ^_^

Sounds like Holly missed both you and Zach.   They sound cute together.  Holly jumps on him  lol.  Yea kids that age dont’ have much control and squeeze. 

You sound like you are on top of things when they are together.    The phone charger/cord.   I wonder if Zach will tell on Holly next time lol.
