Hi, I’m Matt, I’m 27 and in Cleveland, Ohio. I’m a social worker I’m brand new to having a bunny. I joined this site for information mostly and advice if ever i needed it. Back story goes somethig like this: Me and the girlfriend at a carnival, “Oh my God look at the little bunnies, They’re so fluffy I’m gonna die!!” To which I reply, “bunnies? like…prize bunnies? At a carnival?” Upon closer inspection I realized they were really cute, maybe about 10 little bunnies crammed in a tiny little cage. I had no intentions of trying to get one, but the more i looked at them, the more I wanted to free at least one of them and give it a good life. I paid for a basket of balls and my third toss (who said beer pong had no value in the real world?) I won. She opened the bars and told me to pick one. I put my hand in the cage, most bunnies ran away to the other side, a couple just looked at me sideways, but one walked up to me and nudged my hand with his head. That was the one I went home with. Did a bunch of research during the fireworks at the carnival and went to the store and got it a ton of stuff. Not sure if it is a male or female yet, but I named him Frank anyway. (Donnie Darko) He is now almost 8 weeks old, loves me and the girlfriend and wants to just be around one of us all the time. He is the most cuddly, lovey little thing ever. Me and Frank almost fight each other when I’m petting him, because he wants to be licking me while I’m petting him, which I hear is a pretty good thing? He loves his little bunny hammock and running around out of his cage. My house is in no way bunny proof, much less HUMAN proof, so he’s only out of the cage when I’m there, but as soon as he’s out he jumping running, and the first time I saw a “binky” I LOST IT! Thought there was something wrong with him! But yeah, couldnt be happier with him.
