Hi. I have a bunny named Molly. He has a white face with a black dot beside his mouth, black ears, and a few black spots along his spine. He is three years old, and neutered. As of now, he seems to be really annoyed, but he’s usually pretty social (when he’s in the house with us people). He’s super cute especially when he’s happy. I think he may be lonely outside (still working on this problem, see the thread under behaviour. Any help would be appreciated!).

I used to have two bunnies (another male named Maple), but he died early on. I suspect it may have been heat stroke as it was a very hot day… .

Anyhow, I absolutely love my bunny, and he’s pretty awesome!

Welcome. I suggest you keep your rabbit inside full time – he’s lonley outside and if Maple died of possible heat stroke then that tells me it’s TOO hot outside.

Heat can be lethal to a bunny fast as they don’t have sweat glands and do not pant. I’m sorry to hear about your rabbit’s death. Definitely keep Molly out of the heat.

              Welcome here!

Welcome to BinkyBunny! I have a Molly as well, although mine is a female

I haven’t seen your other thread, but I hope Molly soon moves inside the house. I have had outdoors bunnies as well, when I was a kid, and it really wasn’t the best solution for so many reasons. Especially due to the loneliness. 15 years later, I still feel really bad about it, so I do hope you get a chance to change Molly’s life to the better.

Sorry to hear about Maple. That is really sad. I hope all precautions have been taken now, so that it won’t happen to Molly as well.

                  Thanks for the welcome!

I think I will be moving Molly inside especially so I can watch him more carefully.
