Shes out in a back room, seperate to the shop. she is in her crate a lot of the day, but she loves it in there anyway. She has a big wooly blanket on the floor, and a paper box with a hole in it to hide in, with lots of newspaper to shred in it. And banana and carrot and rolled oats and parsley.
Jersey – I was wondering if she needed baytril again too, but I have to squeeze her nose out (from the eye down) a few times a day so that she can breathe properly. When I brought her home on Firday it was easy to do, but in the last few days the puss has been getting thicker and it is much harder to get it out, so her breathing was going squeaky. She started the baytril and Flagyl again last night, and this morning is the first morning that I have woken up and shes not very snuffly. I only had to squeese once. (Mornings are usually about 6 times) so the baytril or the flagyl must be loosening the white stuff in her nose drastically.
We have a week or so to go until the baytril runs out and then Sally is coming to the vet with me so we can run through the whoooooole story with Cathy (Sallys Vet) and see what she says. But Stu is getting fat again now which is good, you should have seen her that night I took her to Sallys, she was just so thin, and she is still thin now, but the fat is starting to come back. That hole has almost healed… now its just the infection in the nose.
