She ate a couple of bite sized pieces of these foam/carpet tile mat things. The bottom part is foam and there is a thin layer of carpet on top and I’m freaking out because she’s never tried to eat them before today and I have to go to the hospital for a sleep test and I will be gone all night and most the day tomorrow. My sister is coming in early in the morning to feed her for like a split second then she’s leaving for work. That’s about it. I already was planning on having my long distance boyfriend watch her on webcam while I’m gone but is this an emergency? Do I need to cancel my appointment? I had to write a two week sleep journal that is supposed to go up to this day and if I cancel, I’ll likely have to redo the two weeks and put off my appointment quite a bit but obviously no doctors appointment is more important than my rabbit’s life.

These are the exact ones I have:

As with all the other things she’s tried to eat/eaten, make sure she’s eating lots of hay and drinking lots of water and monitor for any signs of blockage or pain (hunching, pressing belly down, not pooping etc).

She’s always fine in the end but I don’t want to make the wrong decision this time if something bad happens

I don’t think it’s an emergency. Bunnies tend to properly chew what they swallow, unlike dogs that just gulp stuff down. It’s good your BF can monitor via bunny cam.

Kurotta has given you good advice.

She’s been fine so far. She’s currently playing with her ball in her litter box… haha I think it’ll be good. I also have remote access to my computer via my tablet so I can also see her and also adjust music. I play classical music for her sometimes. So I’m hoping it’ll help her relax and not hate me for leaving haha
