Hello everyone! I am fairly. New to this website and I am really excited to be able to get to know some rabbit owners just like me! So back to the whole Help part… I have a 2 year old male Holland Lop rabbit that we just recently rescued from a home were he was not properly taken care of. He was well under weight and his diet had only consisted of lettuce and carrots. He is white with light brown and black spots, mostly white around his face! He is now on a full time diet consisting of Oxbow Timothy Hay pellets, as well as Oxbow Timothy Hay with a digestive support tablet every once in a while. He is back up to a normal weight and is much more active then when we first rescued him, he really enjoys chewing on his toys and running around freely as he is a house rabbit. I love him to death and I get fairly paranoid about his health, as I am a fairly new rabbit owner. His poo has been perfectly fine, no change in color, texture of size, he drinks his water normally and recieves plenty of fresh veggies everyday. He is a very active boy, and he loves to have his ears rubbed. As to his face being mostly white in color, outlining his nose there is a slight yellow color, he does not have any discharge around his eyes or nose, he does not have any problems with sneezing either. I know that all of those are symptoms of ‘Pasturella’ but he has been acting fine this entire time. Do you think anything could be wrong? I’m fairly worried about my boys health. Thank you for your responses!
