  Hey everyone! I share my space with two bunnies. Back in March, I adopted a one year old Dutch, who’s too smart and stubborn for his own good but is also the sweetest thing known to man. He’ll tolerate anything, LIVES for food, is permanently in this not super relaxed but not super energetic state, and likes to sleep in my bed sometimes. I expected to eventually adopt a friend for him but figured I’d wait awhile. In May, I brought home a two year old Mini Rex from the same shelter. Man, if I had known I’d give in so soon, I would have just adopted a bonded pair. Regardless, I love her. She loves being petted, flopping right in the middle of the room, playing with toss toys and munching on cardboard, and doing high speed laps around my living room. They came with the names Peter and Prada, which I don’t love(or hate). I usually just call them by a variety of generic terms. If anyone has name suggestions, I’m all ears! I’ve thought about Tulip for her but I’m not set on it.

  Welcome! They are both adorable! Your girl rex is beautiful! I love her markings and he is such a cute dutch! What color are his eyes?

  Awww you’re buns are beautiful! Welcome! I love the color of his eyes in the picture, and the marking above her eye looks like an eyebrow! Those buns definitely sound like they’re both a whole lot of fun to have around. As for the names, hmmm….I think Tulip suits her, and maybe Connor or Ryan for him?

  Welcome! Your pair are so perfect. Peter and Prada? I don’t hate those names either but I can see why you might want to change them. Prada is not even a female name or feminine. I think Tulip is lovely but I betcha some name is just going to come out and snatch you for these 2 cuties.

  In real life, the centers are black and not that ruby color, but they do have that neat grey-brown exterior.

  jerseygirl, I’m in the process of bonding them. Since getting the second one, I’ve had mono and gone on vacation, so it’s been a little inconsistent, but I’d say we’re probably 3/4ths of the way there.
