Hi, everyone! I’ve been creeping this forum for a while for advice, but now I’m finally getting an account. Yay!
Bunny 1: Tybalt (nickname Tibby) is a 7 year old male, neutered medium-sized short haired. I met him 6 years ago at the local humane society. As he was their longest-staying resident (almost half a year, the poor guy!), I decided to check him out first and quickly fell for his level-headed demeanour. He can be pretty aloof, but when he’s in the mood for snuggles, he makes sure that he and his human get approximately equal amounts of grooming ^^
Bunny 2: I just became slave to Iris a little more than 4 days ago, and she’s certainly showing off her adventurous personality! She’s a small female spayed lionhead, approximately 1-2 years old. Her previous family didn’t leave any information about her when they surrendered her to the shelter. She obviously hasn’t been socialized very well. When we first brought her home, she flinched at every move we made, but she is quickly improving and is accepting pettings and food from my hand. She is picking up litterbox training very quickly, as well. The little smartie
Since we brought Iris home, Tibby has been a little jealous. I’m going to wait for at least another week, possibly more until I start to bond them. I think Iris needs a little more time to get settled and get used to being handled first. They did meet at the humane society and seemed interested in each other. Expect a bonding diary relatively soon!
