Hello!
My name is Callie, and I share my apartment with my husband and our two rabbits Voldemort and Bellatrix. We had one rabbit before them who passed away last year, and we knew from that point on we would always have bunnies! We got two rabbits this time because we wanted to try and bond them, which is turning out to be harder than we expected. I am sure I will be asking for a lot of advise due to the unfortunate circumstance we are in, which I will get into a little more. But first let me introduce them!
Bellatrix is my sweet little lady who is 6 months old, and has the black trim around her face. I am not sure what type of rabbit she is but we were told she is a dwarf. She currently weights 3 lbs and she is our special little girl because she has Tilt, which we have been fighting for about 2 months now. She has done so good for us and the vet with all of the trips and medication. However it seems she just cant kick it. With her having such bad issues with tilt the vet has decided not to have her spayed at this time, because she stresses out so easily. Her favorite food is romaine lettuce and slices of strawberry. She also loves to binky and run around the house!
Voldemort is our little muscle man who is also 6 months old, and has the big lop ears. He is a miniature lop and he is extra fuzzy! He currently weights 2.6 lbs and its all fuzz and muscle. He loves pushing his face up against the divider and letting Bellatrix lick his face, he also LOVES digging in his litter box and throwing it everywhere when he wants to be loved on (NAUGHTY!). He mostly watches her and sleeps in the passed out on his side like he is dead position which has scared me more than once! He is fixed and his favorite food above all is little pieces of carrot!
Hopefully the pictures load and I am super excited to be apart of the site!
