        Hello =],

        I got my bunny about 3 months ago, I love her to death! She’s one of sweetest and the biggest things i’ve ever seen!

        She is a Champagne D’Argnt ( think I spelt that right) She will be a year old the end of this month.

        Sense I am a fairly new rabbit owner I would love if someone could give me any advice on, getting her to “bond” with me, feeding and diet, or just anything really =]

        Thanks a Ton!

        ( I’ll put a photo up of her as soon as I know how =])

          Welcome and congratulations on your new bunny. To get my bunny Gabby used to me I would go in her room and just lay on the floor with her. Before long she would come up and let me pet her forehead.

          Unlimited hay such as timothy hay is a must for bunnies. It’s good for their teeth and to keep their stomach healthy. Quality timothy pellets without the “pretty” pieces are good for them as well. My two get fresh veggies such as romaine lettuce, parsley, baby carrot, and green bell peppers for supper every night.

          When I first joined this site I just did some poking around and found lots of useful advice in the posts. Please post pics when you can.

              Hi there

              Yes! Unlimited hay hay hay! Hay helps wear the teeth down, and there should always be something going through bunny’s tummy at all times. My bunny gets an timothy gold/orchard mix and she chases me when I put the box on the ground. As for diet, it looks like your bunny is an adult. Timothy based pellets are good – with a limited amount or it could cause chubbyness. My 4 lb dwarf gets (she isn’t chubby either, just a false dwarf) a tablespoon every morning, unlimited hay all day, and veggies at night time. That is just my routine, everyone is different with theirs

              is she litter trained?

                Hello and welcome!

                On your profile picture she is on a wire grate floor – that can be bad for their feet and over time cause sores, so I would suggest if that is still her ground, cover it up with something (a fleece blanket if she’s not a huge chewer, or a grass mat, cardboard, etc)

                Unlimited hay. Limit sugary foods such as carrots / fruits, mmm, make sure you don’t have her on any seed foods as seeds are bad for buns.

                Is she spayed? Litter trained?

                  No she isn’t. She stays outside most of the time ( i’d looove for her to be an inside rabbit but mom and dad say no. But when I take her to college next year she’ll most likely become an inside) so she just has a drop under her cage. But I would like to litter train her =]

                   She’ll be a year at the end of this month.

                    I got her some Timothy hay the other day so I’ve started giving that to her I just don’t have a hay rack yet. Yes she is spayed. And for the wire, the other side of her cage has a sheet of wood covering the wire so she can sit on that when she wants to. She is an outside rabbit so she has a drop under her cage. But I would like to litter train her for when I move out and take her with me. ( my parents wont let me keep her inside so next summer when I go to college she’ll become an inside =]
