Supierce, he’s infested with fleas and the scent of the dogs is probably scary. His feet may be sore from the wire in the cage he was kept in. He’s perhaps not had the happiest experiences with humans. Please try to be understanding and patient. Rabbits can really teach you patience and patience is a great quality to own, I think (having myself been impatient most of my life.).
He reminds me of how my my bunny Bam was, he had a bad case of mites when I found him, he’d been left out in the woods on a pile of garbage. He wasn’t sociable either. He is now though. He now loves to cuddle. He can’t get enough. I have one dog (German shepherd) and I think her presence was scary for him. It took him a whole year to be really comfortable living here. Your bunny may not need anywhere near that time to adjust, I’m just saying it so you know they can be long about accepting you as their friends.
Sorry, I just now saw you’ve been given the advice about patience by other members. Just wanted to give you hope, because I’ve had a really shy bun who is nolonger shy.
And to Thibaud Bun I’d like to say wellcome and congrats to your new friend.
