I’ve just joined your forum and wanted to say hello.
My name is Ros and I’m the newest member of the committee of the Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund here in the UK. We are the UK’s biggest charity focused solely on the welfare of pet rabbits, working hard to improve conditions for many rabbits and to support their human companions in caring for them.

Since joining our very small (select!) committee, I’ve joined a lot of forums to spread information that we feel will be of benefit to rabbits
I’m a retired teacher and live in northeast England with my two rescued lops, Nutmeg Varmint who’s 7 and Kween Betty Winzer who’s 4. Here they are relaxing in our small, secure garden (Betty considers this to be the Palace grounds)
Much like an earlier Queen Elizabeth, Betty has lovely ginger hair. Or is that hare?

My turn to extend a welcome to you Ros! We’ve actually communicated briefly before on Australian yahoo group companionrabbits. I look over the messages sometimes but have only posted there once. I have trouble adjusting to the format.
Anyway, I was happy to see you posting here. And to see your rabbit pair!You’re a wonderful advocate for rabbits as is RWAF.

Thank you everybody for your warm welcomes. I may know many of you already from Yahoo groups where I’ve hung around for years, and also Google APR. So hello, old friends and new.
I won’t post much here that’s personal because I’m ‘at work’ but am also a member as the real me…if only I could remember my username and password!

I know about your organisation, through someone that makes sock bunnies… It’s great that you guys are able to help so many bunnies over there in the UK
