Hello everyone! New to BB and fairly new to bunny mommyhood!

My name is Tarah & my little guy is named Arthur.  He is a 5 month old lionhead and has turned into my best buddy.  I’ve had him since he was almost 3 months old.  He is spunky and loveable and when he wants attention-he wants attention!  He isn’t neutered yet, although we do have an appointment next month.

Unfortunately I do not have any pictures to post at the moment, I’m not on my own computer   I will come back and post some at a later time.

Looking forward to meeting people who are just as bunny obessed as I am. I loved bunnies before but after I got my Arthur, I became OBSESSED!

Welcome. I can’t wait to see pictures of sweet Arthur. What a cute bunny name. I have two buns myself. I’m totally snookered by mine too.

That’s how it happens, you think, “aww, bunnies are so cute, I should have one.” Two weeks later you’re spending every waking moment either with bunnies, reading about bunnies, looking at pictures of bunnies, and talking about bunnies with everyone you meet and spending every extra penny you have on them. If you don’t already, soon, you won’t even mind that half of your house is decorated with nibbled on cardboard boxes, bits of hay, and the occassional escaped poop. Bunnies are made of some kind of highly addictive, bliss inducing, mind control drug! Hehe, welcome! We look forward to pictures, pictures help with the symptoms of bunny addiction.

Me three. I have two lionheads, both over a year old now so count me snookered in too! Welcome, you sound like a wonderful bunnymom. I look forward to seeing pics of the object of your obsession!

Ditto what Kate Monster said. I giggled all the way through her post.

Welcome Tarah and Arthur. Looking forward to seeing the little fluffer.

He’s adorable – love that pic of him flopped in the litterbox! I have two little lionhead objects of my affection.

Love that pic of Spence with his “milk mustache”!

So Arthur has been a bratty teenager lately, which stinks because I already have a 14 year old daughter

He’s now digging at the bottom of his condo (which is just a section of rug with a sheet over it) and still trying to get out of the door and pooping at the door entrance.

He’s getting neutered in a few weeks and slowly the hormones will be in check. Till then I will just share pictures with everyone to remind myself how cute he is…….and how much I love him……..

Sleepy bunny (in his old “home”) In the soda boxes, which we are slowly building a maze for him. Sorry about the bad quality of the picture. Camera phone

Welcome! I have 2 Lionheads as well. I have had Tillie about 2 months (she is 4 months old now) and Toby is my “foster” bun whom my girl decided to bond with (despite my attempts to keep them seperated). I never thought I could love my buns like I do, even with the attitudes they sometimes have Arthur is certainly adorable!!

Thanks! I’ve had bunnies before (a long time ago) but I never cared for them like I do Arthur. I treated them well but they didn’t get the freedom or attention Arthur does (I was young and ignorant). However, I did my research before aquiring Arthur and he has been nothing short of amazing! He’s getting neutered next month and I hoping around my birthday (sometime in Oct) I can start the process of finding him a bonding buddy. Our local rescue sets up appointments for bonding, that way your bunny and his partner can pick each other! Can’t wait!

He is darling.  Love that, “I sleep like the dead” picture.  Welcome

                                    Poor Arthur!

This weekend has been so poopy for him (literally).  I have been working a lot (doing some overtime) and my boyfriend has been working extra hours as well AND my daughter is staying at her cousin’s all weekend, so he’s been by himself a lot. He’s only been getting about 2 hrs out of the condo (only friday and sat).  When I woke up this morning, which was late, OH. MY. GOD. The condo was a mess. He pulled everything off the second floor, including the carpet tiles, spread his hay every where, dragged his food bowl to one side and his water bowl IN HIS litterbox, peed outside the litter box and infront of the door, & protest poops all over the place (including outside the condo). When I let him out I got foot flicks I think the neighbors could hear.  I felt horrible. I was able to let him out for 2hrs before work and cleaned up his condo (placing some extra treats before I left).  He is a quick forgiver though.  He did end up hopping up on the couch with me to say hello, but no bunny kisses

I can’t wait to see more pictures of him.
