I used to just lurk on this forum, but I decided to join recently. I’m the proud mom of a 3 year old female Holland lop named Liebchen, which means little love/darling in German.
Welcome! I hope you both enjoy your stay. Lots of bunnies and owners benefit from this community and I’m sure you’ll feel right at home.

OMG, I could have mistaken your girl for my Henry, honestly they have the same colouring.
She is beautiful even though I am struggling to pronounce her name, he he he he he…..Welcome to BB! We are all wonderful here, I hope you stay around to find out for yourself.
Cheers!That’s so cool! Also, bam is right about the pronunciation of her name. And speaking of bun doppelgangers, my neighbor actually got a Holland lop that looked just like my Liebchen a couple months ago – their rabbit somehow got loose and was hopping around the neighborhood one night, my Dad saw the other rabbit while on our lanai and freaked out because he thought it was Liebchen! Then Liebchen hopped over and nudged his leg, and he realized it was some other bunny.
He captured the other rabbit anyhow, since we both figured out which neighbor it most likely belonged to and we brought it to their house – we were right, it was their rabbit, they hadn’t even noticed she’d escaped… The poor bunny escaped twice more, one time it took the neighbors 3 days to catch her, and she was skin and bones when they finally did. Thank god she wasn’t hit by a car or eaten by a hawk/owl.
Needless to say, our neighbors were awful bunny owners and luckily gave that poor bunny back to the breeder they’d gotten her from…Anyhow, thank all of you for the very warm welcome! I’m so happy to be a member.

When I was taking care of baby muskrats, I named the smallest one Liebchen. Your girl reminds me of them.She looks like a sweet thing.
Aww! Muskrats are so cute, I’ve seen them swimming around the marshes nearby.
She is such a sweet bunny (to me, anyway – she boxes at strangers)!
Cute name. I would love to learn to speak German.
