Hello,
I wasnt really sure where to post this, so I will just do it in my introduction thread, but as obvious, I got a new bunny. I did TOOONS of research on various bunnies, (mostly Netherland Dwarf) because that is the one I was going to choose. However I did end up obtaining a baby male Lionhead. Anyways, I constantly read that bunnies did not really tolerate being pet well, loud noises, quit movements, and that it would sometimes takes a significant amount of time for them to come to you? I read that it would not appreciate entering its cage, and just tons of various things. Anyways to the point, my bunny does not appear to do any of this?
I have two children, a six year old and two year old, who are both obviously SUPER excited to play with the bunny aha, but the bunny handles this, (even the first day) extremely well, like I wasnt expecting this. He will nearly let anyone pet him, he is friendly enough (under supervision) with our kitty, and doggy. Like is this normal, did I get lucky? Did the breeders handle their bunnies often, is it the breed? I do not fully understand. He seems to be super happy and hopping all around his cage.
Anyways, thank all of you for your advice/opinions, and I am VERY excited to be here. Thanks again. ^
