Do you still remember me? That’s been a while since last visit. My computer’s going well, my web’s going well, it just, I feel guilty that I couldn’t make it out to bring Fluffy to Canada.
Sorry, guys, I let you down and let Fluffy down. It took months to accept the situation. I couldn’t come here as I couldn’t speak out. Now, I guess I can finally. Fluffy’s new slave, one of my “Bunny friends”, has visited and she would provide new home at any time, probably in the late spring.
And, another situation is, Fluffy, my “boy”, actually is a girl! I can’t believe this: a girl behaves as naughty as Fluffy… (please look at the pics).
For me, I’m leaving in the summer. This would give me time to adapt to a different climate and environment. After everything settled down, I’ll go to college for an animal health technician (AHT) or veterinarian technician (VT)program. Then, I hope my dream would come true in 3 or 4 years that I would be a professional.
Please bless Fluffy and me!
Who is there?
Sorry! I’m bussy now and have no MOUTH to tell you..
Was wonderign where you were
So Fluffy is a girl? What a surprise for you that must have been!
Welcome back Lancy! You’ve had quite a time having to find all the animals homes. Do not feel guilt, this was circumstances you cannot change. You must feel better now knowing where Fluffy will be now. It will be sad for you though, no doubt.
So Fluffy played a little trick on you did she ? hahaha! Sneaky girl pretending to be a rascal boy!
Welcome back! Those pics are so cute!
I know it is very, very hard, but you are doing the best thing for Fluffy. Another person might just wait til the last week and then drop HER off at the local animal shelter… but you have taken the initiative to find a good, loving home for her.
Come back and visit us again, I’d love to hear how you settle in up there in Canada!
hi Lancy.
Nice to hear from you! Fluffy is so cute, and I’m happy you found a home for her! I can believe she is a girl… the girls are sassier I think.
Don’t feel bad. You did everything you could and even succeeded in adopting her out to a bunny person.
Hi lancy,
I have no doubt this is hard on you! But you are doing a great thing bu making sure she has a good home!
Fluffy will always love you for taking care of her!
You are so sweet! I feel more comfortable now.
The winter vacation will start next week and will last for 6 weeks. I’m planning to spend this period of time with Fluffy. She is still allowed to hang around in my room, making some “decorations” sometimes…
OMG welcome back! I have missed you so much!! You were SO kind to me when I first joined…I was hoping your move went well. It is so wonderful that you found her such a loving home. That is the most amazing thing you could have done when you were going through such a life changing event. Seriously…huge hugs to you. I would only hope the same to anyone that they would have amazing friends to take care of our babies in anytime of need. How is your new home? Im a little confused, did you move there yet? It was canada from china right? Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve heard from you…I rememebr your huge post though. I know it has been so hard on you, I couldn’t imagine having to change your life up and move on like that, I mean its huge…you are such a brave person…SERIOUSLY…you are SO BRAVE *hugs* Of course when I went to Spain and Portugal, …well lets be honost lots of people are upset at the US , and it was after 9/11 ..sigh I don’t know I wasn’t really “liked” when I went to Europe. I would really like to visit Canada someday, maybe Bun, INDY!!! OMG HAVE YOU MET INDY??? I GOT A NEW BUNNY WHILE YOU WERE GONE!!!! We will visit all BB members in Canada!!!!! *bear hugs*
ps. I do regret that I don’t think I posted on your “moving” post. You will have to forgive me, I didn’t know what exactly to say. It was such a difficult thing for you to go through and I have not done anything even close to that to give you any help, but I do regret at least saying that I wished you the best in your move and I am sorry for not doing so.
come on! Lintiti, I knew you were there, holding your hands and praying for me. no words, but I felt that.
I’m still in China, saying good-bye to fellows and planning everything. When feeling involved, people become easily moved, and some meetings were ended with tears. But, like one of my friends said” hey! you’re going to a Western country, not the Western Sky ( a chinese saying, means “to die”, hehe~), I’m jealous!” that’s really encouraging.
Good for you! I can’t wait to see Indy and, of course, Bun, my favorate little naughty thing.![]()
Of course we’re glad to see you!
Sure, it’s sad that Fluffy must stay in China, but you did a wonderful thing finding her a new home. And at least it’s a friend who will send you pictures and notes about Fluffy, yes?
Wow, that she turned out to be female! lol….I was certain my Holland lop was a girl until we went to the doctor. All of a sudden I had a BOY bunny on my hands after six months of thinking otherwise. I felt so silly having called him, “Little Girl Bun” all those months. How I must’ve given him a complex! 0_o
oh, I have to think that if some bunnies are Taichi practitioner? they trun from Ying to Yang or vice versa. So magic!
MimzMum, I guess you saw the animated film by Walt Disney, Mulan, originated from an acient chinese poem, Mulan Ci. In the poem, there is a sentence, say, if a couple of rabbits were walking side by side, how can you tell which one’s male, which one’s female?
I think this also bothered my ancestors a lot. ![]()
lol…I get it…because in ancient times (do they still practice this today?) a female would have to walk some distance behind the male as customary, right?
I loved the song, “Reflection” from that movie. I didn’t know the tale of Mulan was originally a poem. I should look that up so I can get the ‘REAL’ story.
Disney tends to bend the facts. ^_^
Oh wow that is very interesting. It was a poem? I’m going to look that up!
Oh, MimzMum, I got you confussed. The poem was written ~1500 years ago by somebody anonymous, telling a story of a girl named Hua Mulan. She disguised herself as a boy and performed her father’s military service for 12 years. No one realized she was a girl ( it sounds like Fluffy’s story
) in the army until she came back home and returned to dress as a girl. In the end of the poem, the writter said, male rabbits were always jumping and female half opened their eyes ( I dout about the way to determine gender ..), when they walked together, we had no way to tell. That implied Mulan’s heroic action.
Lintini: yes, we had the poem first and then dramas, novels and films. The poem was writtrn in ancient chinese, so I guess that for you is like “no man is an island” for me
. I can’t post in chinese here, so I find a link: http://www.ccview.net/htm/wjnbc/shi/ym001.htm , but I think you may need a Microsoft Office in chinese…
And we have a new film of Mulan recently, you may preview some fragments here: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XOTQzNzAyNjQ=.html ![]()
