Just thought I’d introduce myself. I’m Alex and I’m currently a grad student pursuing a master’s in Aquaculture (rearing fish for commercial use). Unfortunately, I do not own any rabbits currently due to my limited resources (mainly space and time) and my studies. However, I truly wish to have several rabbits of my own after I finish my studies and have a larger place.
As far as my history with rabbits, I never had any during my childhood (we mostly had cats, some dogs, and fish throughout). As crazy as this sounds, I never really paid much attention to rabbits
. Not that I thought less of them or didnt think they were adorable, just never been around them enough to really appreciate them. My growing fondness of rabbits started when my friend told me she had to have her 12 yr old rabbits put to sleep several months ago. She showed my pictures of her rabbit and for whatever reason, something just clicked in my head. And before I knew it, I started looking up all things rabbits in my free time 
. And that’s how I came across this site.Like I mentioned eariler, my goal is to have a group of 3 or so rabbits in the future. But for know I’m just trying to learn as much as I can through research and reading other rabbit owners’ experiences in order to expand my knowledge and apply said knowledge when the time comes. If anyone has any questions about me or my experience (or lack therof) with rabbits, feel free to ask! Thanks alot!

welcome to BB, I did the same thing with a dog forum I don’t own a dog at the moment but I did research them A LOT and decided on a breed and things like that after I joined. I hope this can be as helpful for you as my experience was for me I am a new bunny owner so I am almost just as inexperienced as you and have learned a lot from the website
