Hi My name is Bree and my handsome Bun is Schnitzel biscuit ( my five year old insisted on naming him). We currently live in California. We came from Florida where Schnitzel was born, he just turned two this past month. We went to a pet store in Florida they had ferrets, guinea pigs and bunnies, I saw this cute lil bun and held him and he had to be mine! I prefer to adopt of course but Schnitzel just snuggled up to me when I held him, I knew he wanted to come home with me. Well fast forward to now he quite the spoiled bun with a kind of stuck up personality. He stil is my snuggle bun but that’s after he is fed, napped and played… then he has time for his mama. He traveled with us from Cali to Florida when I was 8mo pregnant and let me tell ya, traveling with a bunny isn’t the easiest. He was just litter trained at the time so that set us back about a month but now he is litter trained that he will hold it when he goes to the vet or anywhere. The scariest moment we have had with him was last june he got a case of head tilt, I had to rush him to the ER vet in town (cause of course it had to happen on a Saturday) They thought it could be pasturella, thankfully it was a inner ear infection his vet found and after a month on antibiotics, dizzy meds and ear drops I got my bun back to health! Well, that’s me and bun. Nice to meet you all and this site is fabulous for my questions, seeing other buns and sharing stories with other fellow bun lovers.
