Hello everyone! My name is Brianna, I’m still new but hoping to get to know everyone and better my knowledge of bunny behavior and habits! I am 19, and i thought i knew lots about bunnies but turns out i really don’t! But that’s alright, now I’m trying to learn lots and improve everyone’s life with a variety of veggies and better approaches!
(First two pictures are him!) I have one bun named Onyx Edgar, he often looks like a crow when he’s sitting so his middle name comes from Edgar Allen Poe. We are also located in Virginia Beach, Virginia USA. Poe is from my area and I’m a big history person. I also used to work at a historic house for three years and we often talked about him there, so that’s why i thought of it.
The picture with the pair of bunnies is Pumpkin and Benson. Punkin’ is the one with white and orange, my sister got her in college out in Tennessee. A neighbor found her and gave her to her niece or grand-daughter, who named her Pumpkin because “she looks exactly how i like my pumpkin pie, 70% whipped cream!” lol! Her favorite food: Canned Pumpkin!
Benson was adopted through a local shelter where we got a lot of our pets, including our dog and a few guinea pigs. He reminds me a lot of peter rabbit because of his fur pattern and colors and his bright blue eyes. I swear his coat is the prettiest ever, no offense Pumpkin! He is Pumpkins best friend, often grooming her and snuggling with her. He is often her protector, if he gets startled you’ll be able to see him nudge her and she’ll run into a nearby cage or just become alert from her loaf or flop position. How chivalrous!
