Hello from Odette and her person!
I waited 6 years after my 8 year old Holland Lop, Manon, passed away to find a new bunny friend. There were a lot of factors for that. I finished grad school, moved, and most importantly, I grieved hard for Manon. But, I have been ready for a while and Odette sort of found me (a story for another day
). She came home on Monday (July 18, 2016). I was told that Odette is 12 weeks old. She is not spayed.
Odette is a sweet, adventurous girl. She is a little shy around me, but allows me to sit beside her and pet her softly just above her nose. I know to be patient and let her take her time.
I only have a couple of photos so far. The first is the ride home. We had an hour drive, but she sat in my lap and did great.
The second photo is Odette in her bookshelf cubbyhole. I’ve since put down a soft shirt for her to sleep on inside the shelf. That is her favorite space so far.
We are new to each other, but I so look forward to our lives together. She is a joy. Some people are dog people. Some people are cat people. I love all animals, but I am a bunny person.
I look forward to meeting you and your bunnies.
