I know I should have posted here first, but we’ve been having a bit of a time with my boy Peter  so here goes!

Hello! My name is Kayla and I am 27 years old  I have two boys (buff/gray lionheads) named Peter(Rabbit) and Benjamin(Bunny) named for the characters from Beatrix Potter’s books! They will both be 3 years old this coming October

I bought them from a pet store (for shame I know) when they were 10 weeks old
Peter is very outgoing and mischievous and is single-maned (less fluffy), while Benjamin is much more timid and reserved and has a double mane (just one big fluff)

Unfortunately due to Peter’s recent health issues, I’ve had to start housing them separately and I can tell that Benjamin misses his bubby

Now for pictures!! I only have baby pictures on this computer

Aww, hello you three Aww Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny, so cute, you must be a huge fan of Beatrix Potter like me, shame there are no nice story books now like there were before, these guys are cute, I was going to call my bunny Peter but I got a rescue bunny called Olly, so I never changed his name, but he seems to answer to anything, I’m so pleased someone called their bunny boys after Beatrix Potter’s books

OH wow, they’re adorable! I have a lionhead too, he is 6 years old and is called Bruce. Unfortunately he is not too well at the moment . He is actually a very similar colour to yours but with darker patches, though he did start off lighter so yours may darken as they age. I heard that separating a bonded couple means they can have issues when you re-introduce them so be careful when you put them back together.

To Pinky: Thank you! I always get so happy when people can appreciate their names (and you’re right about story books now unfortunately!) since I got them as a pair, I had to give them “matching” names

To Asutt: Yes as they have gotten older, their ears, feet, and noses have turned a darker gray color Unfortunately for Peter (and Benjamin) they will not be together in one cage anymore
Peter is not doing well at all. He had a procedure yesterday to pull a bad tooth, but my vet found that all the sinuses on the right side of his face were full of infected tissue. He removed it as best he could, but Peter will never be well again we are just keeping a good eye on him and making sure he’s as comfortable as possible
Sorry to be such a downer at the end there Please give Bruce lots of love from me, and I hope he starts feeling better soon!!
