Hi everyone!
My name is Danielle! My partner, Alex and I are new bunny parents! A little about us… We both are currently studying at Illinois State University. We live in a townhouse and couldn’t be happier with our new family member
Our bun’s name is Odin, he is a 5 month old black tort Holland Lop and we’ve had him for almost 2 months. A little background about the name… it was a compromise between Alex and I. Alex wanted to name him Thor (because of the comics) but, I wanted something a little more creative so I did a little research and discovered that Thor’s father, the king of Asgard is named Odin! The name suits him well I must say, because he definitely thinks he is the king of the house! Odin is not neutered yet (he has an appointment for next month!) but, so far he has been awesome with litter training (he never pees on the floor, I mostly just find a few poops here and there if he is out of his cage all day)! I’m so proud of him for being so young, yet so smart and willing to learn already. He also knows some tricks! He can jump through a hoop, stand up, spin and “go home”. I taught him using a pen as a clicker. My goal is to get him trained enough to become a house bunny and so far so good! He has become very comfortable with us (in such a short amount of time) me especially. He used to be very skittish towards us touching or petting him and now he is to the point where he comes up to me and bites our pants until we sit down and pet him! He is also obsessed with licking my hands and sitting in between my feet!
