HEARTBROKEN

 Hi Everyone – I am absolutely heartbroken at the moment. I was forced by the Queensland government in Australia to surrender my bunnies as they are illegal to own as pets in this state. It is the most ridiculous law as they are legal in every other state of Australia, in fact everywhere else in the WORLD I believe. We recently had to move to a new suburb and some cruel nosey neighbour must have dobbed us in. My beautiful girls weren’t causing any problems to anyone – it is so UNFAIR. I am so sad and missing my girls so much, it just isn’t the same anymore waking up or coming home to NO bunnies. They are at a Rabbit sanctuary in New South Wales at the moment and I am doing everything I possibly can to change this STUPID law so I can get them back. If anyone has any suggestions on getting the government to change this law I would love to hear from you. I am willing to do ANYTHING to get my babies back where they belong ??❤

I know the Rabbit Sanctuary in NSW and they will be safe and cared for there…Unfortunately these laws have been entrenched for a while and there is no foreseable changes to them. If you are on Facebook there are several Cause and petition sites trying to change the laws but it has been a long hard battle with no ground given as yet.. I will try to find some of the links and message them to you over the weekend.

Oh my gosh! I’m so sorry, the link above contains a link to a petition against that law.  That law is so horrible!  I hope you get your buns back…
