  So last week I was on South Manitou Island (in Michigan) for a backpacking trip. The last day we were there, then we saw some wild hares! They were so cute and I was trying to get a picture, but they apparently didn’t want their pictures taken. They would sit there, perfectly, like they were posing and then as soon as my camera was out and ready they would run away!!! But they were just so cute and they had HUMONGOUS ears!!! I did get one picture, but it is pretty bad…

  Cool! I didn’t know there were hares up in MI – I’ll have to keep a lookout for them next time I’m there.

  Yeah, I didn’t know that either. (especially on an island!!!) But they were super cute and I just wanted to take one home with me!!!

  I had to look up where the island was and it’s pretty close to my grandma (she’s on the UP). I love that area! It must’ve been so pretty.

  I spent the weekend camping in our national park and I was really hoping to see a bunny. I did! It was so cute. I wasn’t able to get a picture either. I can never get over how beautiful wild hares are.
