I almost forgot that a year ago today we adopted Gracie! I can’t believe it’s been a year already. It’s taken her awhile but she’s now completely out of her shell! She even started jumping on the couch, even though once she gets up there she looks like she can’t figure out how to get back down

What a beautiful bun she is. Happy Anniversary!skibunny…didn’t you have a third? Or am I thinking of another member?
Yup I have a third (Sandy, Agouti Mini Lop) but she isn’t bonded with Archie and Gracie yet. It’s going to be a long process for them three! Her anniversary will be in May….well that’s when we started fostering her, I can’t remember when we actually decided to adopt her. And Archie had his one year last Dec.

one year is such nice anniversary. Gracie looks like such a tough cookie. I am envious of your pretty pen. Don’t yours jump out and over the two grids?That’s actually an older “model” of the cage before my husband rebuilt it for the millionth time
But yeah it’s only 2 grids high and they’ve never attempted to jump out of it. Sandy looks like she’s trying to climb it when she wants a treat, she’ll get one foot in a square but that’s it, I don’t want to teach her anything 
Sandy’s the only one that has actually cleared a baby gate (I almost didn’t hear her!), Gracie jumped and climbed up the rest of the way and gotten over (but she’s not going to attempt that again). The grids are slightly taller than the baby gate so we’re good. Just wait until summer, they’ll be back behind the couch cuddling again because the air conditioning goes out from there and they love the cool air! Right now they sit by the big window because it’s cooler there.
