Just want to wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Jewish New Year.

Last night began Rosh Hashonnah. Celebrate by dipping apples into honey for a healthy and sweet year.

        L’Shanah Tovah!

Happy and healthy New Year to you my dear!
Mmmm, and the honeycrisp apples have come in to our local grocery. I like to eat those with caramel, even though they are sweet enough just plain.

                    Happy New Year!
That sounds like a very tasty way to start off a new year, much better than black eyed peas!

Yum, black eyed peas. (My nephew’s favorite Dec. Holidays song: “Let there be peas on Earth. Let there be peas on Earth.”)

My friend just corrected me: apples are for a Fruitful year, and honey for a sweet one. Well, I prefer Healthy, so ascribe to the apple-a-day theory of doctor avoidance.

MM, caramel apples are THE BEST!!!! I do pine a bit in October for the apple orchards and fall foliage. I used to live near many orchards in New England and went apple picking often. Apple Cobbler….gimme gimme gimme…..
