  I feel like such a bad bunny mom! I have known for weeks it was approaching…and then with the mess of weather we had yesterday (MORE SNOW!) and things being crazy with that I totally forgot it was my little man’s birthday..until I was going to sleep last night. You know I kept thinking he was giving me the cold shoulder all night and now I know why!!
  
  Anyway, happy 1st birthday to my little man (a day late)…
  
  Here’s Mr. Blu when we brought him home at 8-9 weeks old
  
  And now such a big boy (don’t mind the red eyes, they’re actually blue…)

  Is Mr. Blu a holland lop? I’m looking into possibly getting a holland lop for Smokey since hollands run about 3-5 lbs, correct? Smokey is a wee 3 lbs haha. I always entertained the thought of a Flemish and Smokey. Although she would probably boss them around!

  Thanks everyone Yes he’s too cute for his own good…it’s hard to stay mad at him, even though he’s always trying to get into trouble…or nip me..lol boys! I feel like he’s still so tiny, but then I look at his baby pics and he’s definitely gotten so much bigger.. It is deceiving though, he looks big until you pet him and realize he is ALL FUR!

  Yes he’s a holland lop, both mine are. Blu is just under 3 lbs (last time I checked) but my Oreo (girl) is also a holland and is 4.5 lbs, much bigger than him! She also gives more love…or I should say she licks when Blu would probably try to nip… Oh and I’m in NJ too, so I know what you mean about this weather!!

  Also, I can’t believe he’s a year old! I feel like you just got him a couple months ago or something.

  Yeah I’m in south nj. We got probably about a foot this morning. And I still had work… But got to leave at 12pm, so it wasn’t too bad!
  
  Yeah I’ve always wanted a lop, and I definitely thought of pairing Smokey with a male one. It’s just a matter of finding one at a shelter : / I would feel bad buying from the breeder I got Smokey from since I know there are so many bunnies in shelters. But the shelters around here don’t really carry rabbits too often : / ( I’m in Gloucester County. We only have 1 animal shelter, mainly for dogs/cats )

  Elrohwen – I think Otto is so adorable!! I love his little face..and you’re right, they do look similar! Otto has Oreo’s colors and Blu’s body..you have both of mine in one bun! lol And yes time does go fast!!
