Hello everyone any tips on how to pick up a bunny without stressing him out that much, because my bunny needs to be given medicine on a syringe and also for his eyes. So we’ve been doing this for about a couple weeks and of course he didn’t want to but now he just seems more reluctant and is hard to pick up because he runs around and thumps really loud
so im not really sure what the best way is to do for him not to get so freaked out.because the last time we gave him medicine (a day ago) he was really like scared and was thumping which is by far the worse he reacted, and he was also scratching my chest trying to climb up (it just turned a bit red it wasn’t that bad) so i asked my dad to not give me meds for a day to calm him down a bit. But what i’ll do is after we give him his medications i just kind of sit down with him still in my arms to try and calm him down a bit(it seems to work a bit) and is it normal hat they wont accept treats right away? but then after a few minutes they eat it?
