Really pretty – I’m not usually a tattoo lover but I do love yours. Did you design it yourself?

Aww, that’s so cute! Where did you get it? How big is it?

Sarita- Weird thing is, Im not usually a tattoo lover either. I never thought about getting one, until I decided I could get my babies because ill never change my mind about them. I didnt really design it, I just knew I wanted all three of them together, did some googleing, and the tattoo artist drew it up for me.

Elrohwen- I have to hide it from my Dad, I absolutely hate getting yelled at, and Id end up with a huge lecture about being the perfect role model for my little brother (6) and sister (8). But its on my lower back/hip area so I can hide it in a one piece bathing suit. Kind of a “tramp stamp” on the side. Its medium size I guess, maybe a tiny bit bigger then the rim of a pop can.

                OMG, you did your bunnies!
Did it hurt much? I saw a comedy once where a woman had one tiny dot on her arm that was her tattoo because she couldn’t stand pain from more than the first touch. LOL That would be me.

I did my bunnies! It did hurt when it was being done, but not as much as I had worked it up to in my mind. Everyone said it would feel like a bee sting, but where I got it it felt more like super extreme cat scratches. And im really really ticklish, and for some reason it tickled along with the ouch, the tattoo guy laughed at that. I remember someone talking about that comedy too. But it was a fatty part, so it wasnt bad. My jeans hurt now though.

“Guess what I got” ……..a bunny? a bunny? Hehehe! That’s seriously what I thought when I read the title – forgot about tatt plans.
It looks really good Liz – sweet little trio. I’m laughing about your future though….You’re so young and there’s gonna be many more bunnies to come right? te he he!

Lucky the skin is the largest organ of the body.

Lol I know, what happens when I get more?! I figured I could work any others in there some how. Like one standing up with their paws on the side of the heart, One hopping over the heart, one sitting next to it etc etc. It will be a much much larger tattoo when Im done with bunnies.

That’s a great tattoo! I love seeing people’s pet tattoos

I will be getting 3 tattoos soon that I have to keep hid since my family “doesn’t approve” lol

That is an awesome tattoo!  I never used to think I would ever even consider a tattoo but after watching LA Ink on TV with Kat Von D and seeing some of the amazing tattoos that have been shown- it has changed my opinion of tattoos.  I am still not sure I would ever get one- but I don’t have the “hell, no!” reaction that I used to.

And how awesome to have a tattoo so personal to you!  Of course with the Lucy The Terror stories I expected to see her doing something at least a little naughty, not just looking cute and innocent…just kidding!

One of my previous coworkers had the exact imprint of his dogs paw tattooed onto his leg- that was pretty cool!

That is so sweet Liz! I love it! So did he work off pics? What a wonderful job!

I don’t have any tattoos. I’ve wanted one for a long time but I don’t honestly know what I would get… or WHERE I would put it. In my profession, I can’t have visible tattoos… but I’m overweight… so all of my “non-visible” places are always covered up anyways. I don’t know. Still debating I guess. My problem is that I think if I don’t do it soon (just turned 26) I probably never will. AND it would P*SS off my parents, so that is an added incentive!

Sonn- I love pet tattoos too, because they are original and personal to that person, instead of something out of a book that tons of people get. Good luck hiding yours! One side of my family disapproves, but I told them and got a few small lectures (apparently since im 18 im a impulsive kid who will regret it in a year, because in a year ill lose interest in bunnies. HIGHLY unlikely!). The other side is more uptight and disapproving so im not telling any of them lol.

Katnipcrzy- I watched a lot of LA ink after I decided to get one, it helped ease the worry about the pain. Lucy The Terror has settled some in her old age, now her growling and biting is usually a bluff. And she is never evil in the public eye, she makes me look like the bad guy. Except two days ago she attacked my cat, Toluz, very very laid back cat. He was just napping in the corner, but she attacked and he was so confused because he couldnt go anywhere because of the baby gate. Hammer loves Toluz, Lucy usually ignores him unless he goes in her cage. Hammer loves Toluz in his cage, and Toluz loves to chill with him in their. Hammer and Lucy are polar opposites! Pretty cool about the paw print, we couldnt do that for buns because it would be a blob but thats a good idea.

Deb- Ouch! My friend got hers on her foot the same day, it was her birthday so we went together when she was finally legal. But she was definitely hurting. The tattoo guys said your foot was the second most painful place, so your ankle must be pretty sensitive too.

Beka- I love it too! No regrets here, I absolutely love it. I brought in a picture of a logo I found online with two generic bunnies and a guinea pig inside that heart. And a picture of each of my rabbits. They somehow copied the heart onto this temporary tattoo thing and then traced my bunnies on the pictures to get their own features to stand out, then drew those traced lines into the heart. Once that was done and on me he went off the pictures to add the shading. I love how I can tell them apart. Even before the shading, he asked if I could tell who was who and on first glance I could. But if you want one Its easy to hide, there are so many places you could get it and not show at work. I was limited because I have to hide mine in a one piece bathing suite around one side of the family. So mine is only visible if I wear a two piece. Who cares if your overweight, it will hurt less lol. I wanted it on my ribs, but thats the most painful place, and the less fat the more pain and im literally as skinny as can be in a size 0. But no body get the impression that I dont eat or i have a eating disorder or anything! Im just tiny and my doctors wanted me on growth hormones when I was little lol. And pissing off your parents when your that age is fun lol, because they cant do anything or say much. Id end up with no car.

Lol I am 24 and I am still and “impusive kid” to my family. But I figure it’s my body they will eventually either accept it or get used to it

Guys, I’m 51 and I live near my parents. In the last few years they’ve occasionally said “well, you’re an adult so you make your own decisions.” I thought, OMG, when did THAT happen??? LOL

An idea for BunnyLiz: get a tattoo of grass running across yourself, then as you get bunnies in your life, just add little pairs of eyes and ears peeking out.

Do you have trouble looking at it? If I got a tattoo, I’d want it where I could see it myself. (OK, mine should say “Ms. Narcissus”.)

OMG, the tatt is beautiful, but I have to lol at all the responses….! Pam! A line of grass…that is too funny! xD

I have to say, I have that nice heart shaped pendant that my hubby gave me that has Shadow’s face on it. Upon seeing it, my oncologist made a remark about how most people have pictures of their husbands or boyfriends/girlfriends. I felt so ashamed! 0_o Then I just got hacked off. >

If I had to get tattoos for every animals I’ve ever owned/will own, there would be not one spot on my skin that wasn’t covered. Yikes! >_<
