Hey guys! I know I’ve been posting questions like crazy, but I’m a first time bun owner and just want to make sure I’m doing things right! I was just wondering how often I’m supposed to brush my buns? I’ve got a Rex/ Mini Rex mix and a Lionhead/Rex mix. Also, my Lionhead/Rex mix, Bugs, has not warmed up to me yet and I don’t want to frighten him. How should I proceed with brushing him???

Another member taught me this, but it works great… use a lint roller! Give them a good brush a least once a week, and if they’re molting do it every day (especially that lionhead). Just go over them with a lint roller. It’s super gentle and safe. As for your poor lionhead, unfortunately once he’s molting you’re really going to have to just go in there. Just do it for a few snippets at a time. Have someone feed him at the same time that way you can brush.

THAT IS SO SMART! I would have never thought of that! Thanks!
