It really depends on the coat type of your rabbit, and your rabbits personality as to what would work best.
Personally I’d say that mit would be useless against the a amount fur rabbits have, especially as it’s so fine!
One of mine I use a furminator on, but you need to be careful with these as they can cause over grooming or hurt your rabbits delicate skin.
She has long fur which requires more maintenance, I have to groom it and make sure it’s clean as it’s hard for her to do herself.
whereas my male is generally fine
He’s a lionhead cross and he uses a soft bristle brush and a comb when he’ll tolerate it, he does not like to be groomed though.
Normally grooming happens in stages throughout the day with mine, just because he hates it, and she has so much fur to get through that I like give her a break.
When they are shedding I normally wet my hand a bit and run it over their coat, more effective way of picking up loose hair on short hair buns!
In regards to veg, new things have to be introduced gradually. So any new veg you want to try needs to be given in small quantities. They should have 5-6 types of veg per day, I tend to give mine about ten different things in rotation at varying amounts-carrot tops, raspberry leaves(when I’m home), kale, mint, rocket, dandelion leaves, celery, broccoli, romaine lettuce, watercress, butternut squash. Things like broccoli can cause gas so it needs to be monitored.
Treats depends. I actually use their pellets as treats instead of giving them to the buns in a bowl.
(Mine were taken off pellets by the vet and then i just never got back into giving them to them) so they get a lot of treats that way.
